This heating pad DOES include the battery pack, that's something you have to watch carefully on the cordless heating pads. It isn't a magnetic closure like the description (and the instruction card) says, it is the Velcro shown in the photos. It heats up nicely and hangs around the neck nice. I have a smallish neck so it just barely fits down to my size, but you could also adjust it with another way of connecting the straps. It pull slightly, but it's much more comfy than using the strings to tie a traditional heating pad around your neck. The pad itself has a nice cover that is comfy against the skin. Charging is still a bit of a question, I left it on to charge for quite a while and it never stopped flashing, I took it off charge to use it and it's running fine. Great buy overall!Update: I purchased 2 more and they aren't nearly as good as my original. First, they are magnet closures and not velcro (actually isn't the problem I thought it would be). But secondly and most problematic, they don't heat nearly as much as my first unit. They do warm up but they don't get nearly as hot as you would want for neck therapy.

This device is great, if you have a stiff or sore neck you will love this. I was a bit skeptical at first because it runs on a rechargeable battery, I didn't think it would put out much heat. I was surprised to find it actually puts out quite a bit of heat. One charging makes it run for about three hours on the high heat setting. It even has a pocket that you could insert an ice pack into instead of using it for heat. It's very convenient, you don't need to unplug anything if you need to get up.

So I thought it was nice and perfect until it didn't take a charge after using off/on for six months. But the company replaced it with no questions really and the second one lasted two weeks of using maybe 3 times. It is obviously cheaply made.

I do use this ,about every night. 2 things to keep in mind. 1. The part that wraps around the neck is rather large. It's too big for me to use the magnets. I'm not a tiny person, average size. I have to tie it. 2. The charge does not last long, 10 or 15 minutes..maybe that's normal..I was expecting longer. It does get good and warm, just not very long.

The battery life is poor. But it works when it’s on. Only two settings but both weren’t very very hot. If you are used to a very hot heating pad don’t get this

Not going to remove a star for an expected thing.Ok, the good: The price was decent. It is SUPER lightweight and not bulky. It is USB C! You don't have to remove the battery pack to charge it. Controls and usage are simple.I do like it right up against my skin... It doesn't quiiiite do it for me otherwise. I use it on hot and it feels like targeted relief to my neck and upper spine. It doesn't feel like it fluctuates either. Just a nice steady warmth that settles at a good level.I forgot to time it but so far I'm actually impressed. Expected 5 minutes. I must have gotten an easy thirty minutes before I noticed the output is diminishing.I received a nice, new sealed in plastic product in a nice, sealed box with the instructions and a little USB A to USB C cable.

Poor quality does not heat

I was told i need to apply heat yo my neck but my heating pad was very large and uncomfortable. After researching I found this one and it has been amazing i keep it my purse and use it throughout the day. Battery lasts long and I love that it turns off by itself.Instructions were really not helpful but my neck is better and that is all i care about.
