AVALON COND,CLARIFYING,LEMON, 11 FZ

I bought this clarifying conditioner in addition to an antibacterial shampoo for scalp foliculitis.This conditioner smells great, very lemony. However.. it is unlike any conditioner I've ever used. My hair is the opposite of silky smooth and tangle free after using. I have to use a lot to feel like it's doing anything, feels like it soaks in quickly. After towel drying my hair, I cannot run a comb thru my hair. I have fine, thin hair. I would have better luck with only shampooing.3 stars because it smells great and when my hair dries, it looks a little frizzy, but OK. Wouldn't recommend or purchase again. Not sure if it would've helped my scalp issues because I can't bring myself to use it every day with the knots.

There was a really weird smell that overpowered the lemon in this conditioner, and it doesn't condition very well. My hair was still very tangly after using this.I do have curly hair though, so maybe it works better for people who have straight hair? But the smell wasn't as lemony as I wanted.

I think I might have gotten an old batch or something, because this conditioner was awful! Left hair knotty and unmanageable, not like after most other conditioners which leaving your hair smooth and mostly tangle-free.. This brand's shampoo works fine though, and I like the lemony scent.

I use this conditioner to cowash my hair and I really like the fact that it leaves my hair soft and shiny. It also seems to remove whatever buildup has accumulated from my styling products. To cowash effectively, you have to use a significant amount of conditioner and leave it on for at least 10-15 minutes. I originally started with Wen and moved on to regular conditioner because I didn't really see any difference between the two. This conditioner leaves my hair looking and feeling healthy and light. It also smells amazing, although the scent dissipates quickly. It is a very effective cleanser and I only wish it came in a bigger bottle. I've used it for many years and will continue to do so. It's a little gem I discovered in my local health food store and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I highly recommend it for cowashing and for any hair type, even fine hair.
