Exo Terra Desert Sand, 4.5 Kg, Red

Bought it for decoration purposes, thought it's fine as desert sand in UAE but no bit bigger grans. Nice colour and clean .

I use this for my hamster. I initially tried KOMODO sand, however it was INCREDIBLY dusty. I kept washing the KOMODO sand, however after letting it dry, it still left a film of white dust on your fingertips.Whilst this sand is also VERY fine, it's INCREDIBLE! No dust! No residue on your fingers after. Definitely recommend this for hamsters.

Brilliant sand for hamsters. This red sand isn’t dyed and therefore safe, good value, beautifully pigmented, and holds liquid well. Had no odour, and can be simply poured into the container. Good sized bag can fill a 30cm sand bath.

Perfect for our desert gecko who seems to love it.

Chose this sand to use in Hamsters cage after seeing such great reviews & expect it'll be pretty good though haven't used yet as some white sand still to use up first .Update: After my last Hamster sleeping away:-( Am buying this excellent sand again hoping soon to have another Hamster enjoy using it. Found it to be great last time so no reason to change.

I bought the red sand and it's a lovely colour. My male Syrian hamster loves rolling and digging in it. It isn't too fine or dusty so it shouldn't cause respiratory problems. There's a good amount in the packet so it should last a couple of months.
