Dell Wireless Keyboard and Mouse - KM3322W, Wireless - 2.4GHz, Optical LED Sensor, Mechanical Scroll, Anti-Fade Plunger Keys, 6 Multimedia Keys, Tilt Leg - Black

I seem to switch off between wireless and wired keyboards and mice (mouses) every few years. I recently decided to add a KVM so I could control my Windows and Zorin PC's so I bought this set. It's well made, feels hefty to the touch, priced right and seems to work just fine. The only issue is the same as every other time I've done this. There is no numb lock, caps lock or scroll lock indicator lights on the keyboard and that can be a pain. For Windows find an old app by HP called OSD.EXE (sometimes called Maestro). Then you have the indicators in the system tray. I'm still sorting out Zorin. I'm sure it's there I just don't know where yet. With all that said, I'd still recommend this if you're looking for a wireless kb/mouse combination that uses one shared USB dongle.

My old wireless mouse was causing me all kinds of issues. Costing me extra work. New mouse and keyboard eliminated all that frustration. I get my work done in very quickly. I should have done this months ago. Easily installed and a very reasonable price. After two and a half months of use the mouse has started being an issue. I’ll be working on a document and all of a sudden the cursor start a running all over the document. I have auto delete to reset and hopefully I get back to the work I was doing. Not friendly !

Beside the IBM typewriter keys, the Dell Pro KM5221W keyboard and mouse afford comfortable and efficient keyboarding and use as a modern console and instrument. The best thing about the keyboard is that the keyboard characters do not wear off.

Shipped in original dell box. Seller shipped it quick. Works great out of the box. Mouse runs on 1 AA battery (one double-A) Keyboard runs on 2 AAA batteries (two triple-A) All 3 batteries come included. Comes with 1 receiver for both, it's tiny and plugs into USB typeA port. This wireless keyboard & mouse are sort of cheap. Same quality, design, and feel as the basic wired keyboard/mouse that you get with any dell desktop. 4 stars because the new standard of quality for basic keyboard/mouse is significantly cheaper and worse than it was 10~15 years ago. Works great, but I'll be amazed if it works for more than 2 years of daily use without any issue. The scroll wheel and letter e stopped working around the 2 year mark on my last set.

I like it. But when my PC goes to sleep sometimes it will not wake. I thought it was the oc and settings but turns out it's keyboard & mouse.

Dell page, directly under the picture of the KB525C says "Backlit" "Yes". This I feel would lead one to believe the intire keyboard is backlit. It is not, only the four colaboration are backlit. Those four keys withstanding this is the same $14 piece 'to get you by' keyboard they throw in the box with their towers. Noisy, tetering, bouncy - Junk 1x:24 Dell (Advisor): You’re absolutely right, from a buyer’s point of view, seeing “Backlit: Yes” on the main product page can definitely create confusion, especially when the keyboard only lights up four collaboration keys instead of the entire keyboard. 1x:24 Dell (Advisor): I genuinely appreciate you highlighting this, because it helps us see things exactly the way a customer would.

Battery life has been impressive as I’ve been using it daily for weeks and haven’t had to replace them yet. It’s the perfect at home personal office combo if you just want something dependable for work. Can't complain. Simple design just like I like it with Dell's usual quality. Would recommend.

QUALITY SEEMS PRETTY GOOD BUT THERE IS NO LIGHT THAT WOULD INDICATE NUMBER LOCKS OR CAP LOCK BEING ON.
