We have a sick family dog, and so unfortunately the time is coming he won’t be here anymore. I wanted a resource for our 3.5 year old to help explain the loss of a pet, and this book will be perfect for that. I hope we still have some time before we need it, but I’m glad we’ll have it when that time comes.

This book was the best thing I got when one of our family pups passed. My son wasn’t sure how to feel but this book helped him. He was able to fill it out while we read it and it gives you enough space to add more things. The pictures are really cute.

I love that this book is a place where all memories of the pet can be kept. The story is very tender and most of my friends still cannot read it without sobbing, but I believe it's a healthy purging kind of cry. I love that there are many types of dogs in the pictures and so far I have been able to find each of the dogs that are mourned somewhere in the pictures. I encourage my friends to use the pages to write all the cute and quirky and wonderful things about their dog in the empty spaces given for this purpose so that the memories don't ever fade with time and photos can also be kept in the pages. It is easy to store or looks beautiful on display.

When my brother and his family lost their family dog” Fred “ the small kids were very upset . I sent this book to them and it really helped the kids get through the grief . Sweetest little book that brings comfort and tears every single time we read.

I still cry every time I read this book and I bought it nearly 2 years ago now. But it definitely helped my kids. We sat down as a family and filled out all the info on our pup and read it whenever the kids asked. My then 3 year old was able to process the loss and even be happy that her old dog wasn’t suffering anymore even though we all miss her very much.

Received a book like this from a friend when our precious Daisey crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 1-1/2 yrs ago. I ordered this for my sister whose doggie is 14 years old so It send to her when he crosses over. Such great way to keep memories of your beloved pet.
