Easy enough for the anti-camper
Yes you are seeing that photo correctly. Most people take their tents to the calm campgrounds, but I took mine to the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I spend the night camping in a queue to see my favorite band, The 1975. Mind you, I have N E V E R slept in a tent, forget assembling one. I’m that friend who just doesn’t do the outdoors. This tent was so easy to put together and take apart. I think it was great at keeping me warm during the November weather in Pittsburgh. No complaints! The real question is… When is The 1975 going to tour again?

Clostnature Vela 6 person tent
I own and use a the Clostnature Polaris 2 person tent, so when I was looking for a larger tent on a budget, this tent seemed to be a good choice. What's in the box: Inner tent, rainfly with attached guy lines, 3 fiberglass poles, tent stakes.First impressions: The build quality seems good, no loose threads, seams were all taped as advertised. That being said this is definitely a budget tent and is missing some of the features found in Clostnature's more expensive tents, notably simple ties instead of toggle and loops for attaching rainfly.Set up: Set up is pretty straightforward with the simple 2 pole dome design, although a little awkward for one person due to size of tent and fact that top of tent attaches by ties instead of toggle and loops. Rainfly has one pole in the center which forms the eves over the doors. Once the rainfly is in place it attached to tent poles by Velcro and ties. This is a roomy tent, rated for 6 people, while you could fit 6 people, I don't think it would be comfortable for more than 4 people.Tent features 2 large 2 layered doors which can be unzipped as desired for additional ventilation. There are two mesh storage pockets on each wall, as well as a hook at top of tent for hanging a light.Points to consider:Materials do seem a little thinner than some other tents, but use of ground cloth should prevent damage to floorWaterproofness: First use of tent was in 24 hours of light but steady rain. The only "leak" experienced was a little drop of water by one of the door tiebacks. (A common leak point for tents) I'm sure additional seam sealer will fix the issue.Zippers: Definitely NOT YKK. Zippers want to catch the rainflap which covers them, go slow and make sure rainflap is out of the way. Conclusion: Overall I am happy with this purchase, especially considering the price.

It's great for many reasons and is an excellent quality
The tent is great. For a 2 person tent it is larger than other brands and can actually fit 2 adults with ease. Good quality too. The lifetime warranty was an unexpected surprise. We own 2 other 2-person tents to compare this to. The others are narrower where both people have no room between them. The others fabric is not as thick. This tent has what looks like parachord for the zipper pulls. Also this tent has an entrance door on each side. Both doors can be unzipped all the way open or can just have the mesh screen up for a mosquito free breeze. Yhere is also a large mesh screen at the top of the tent under the rain fly. The rain fly extends over each door. I like that the tent has exterior clips for the support rods and I don't have to run the rods through the tent. The clips make it MUCH easier and quicker to set the tent up.Inside there are two gadget bags, one on each end for cell phones, wallet, glasses or other small stuff. They are large enough to hold all 3 of those items at the same time plus still has room left over. Also there is a lantern hanger strap with plastic clip in the middle. I used a small carabiner hooked onto the strap and hung a kerosene lantern from it just to ensure the tent wouldn't get too hot - it didn't. Bonus idea...I also used the carabiner clip to hang the lantern onto the end of the rainfly at the peak over one of the doors - kind of looked like a porch light. This allowed the lantern to supply light inside the tent from an angle instead of from inside the tent where the base of the lantern cast a shadow directly under the lantern. It also gave additional headroom inside the tent. I like using old style kerosene lanterns better than LED lights. Just feels more like camping plus they are a heat source if it gets cooler outside. Speaking of cooler, you can lay a towel on top of the tent but under the rain fly to cover the mesh vents in order to keep the heat in.Overall this is a great tent that I am very happy with. I bought it as a gift for my 14 year old daughter because she wanted a tent like her 2 older brothers each have. She has the best one by far...and it has a lifetime warranty! How can you beat that?I ride motorcycles and this would be a great tent for me to use for motorcycle camping as well. I may have to buy two more of these tents...one for me for the motorcycle and one for my youngest daughter who also wants a tent after seeing her sisters.

Smaller than Advertised
The media could not be loaded. Haven’t field tested it yet. Will update review if needed.Pros: Compact and lightweight. Setup is super easy, using hooks instead of sleeves for the poles, which I prefer as sleeves tend to rip easily.Cons: Certainly not 7’ 3” long. I’m 5’10 and the top of my head and bottom of my feet brush against the edges (the wall tapers inward several inches as they aren’t taut and sag a bit). Not even account for the sagging wall, the total length is more like 6’ 4”. Way smaller than advertised.

4 person tent- one door only!!
Set it up and was disappointed to find out it only has one door when the description says two. The zippers are crappy, and there are loose threads. I'm glad I got it on special.
