It works great! It's a solid heavy build. I have a Lenovo Y700 14 inch held by this. It's a relatively heavy laptop, but this stand is built very solidly. I was worried that I would get that sort of "lift" whenever removing the laptop from it, but the stand itself is heavy enough that you do not have to worry about it. There is no worry of it tipping over either. Glad I got this. It's a great space saver.
