I REALLY ENJOYED every second of this, so much so, it's being added to my library! Each scene was perfectly acted and realistic! I highly recommend every Christian watch it.

The description says this is a film about a lawyer turned preacher who is asked to defend a local. That is about as much as you get with regard to this film being Christian oriented and over-preachy. The rest of the description leads you to believe this is just another courtroom drama of a wrongly accused man. After watching almost everything else of interest on the IMdB channel we, under desperation, decided to give this a try. At first it looked good enough to stay with it. Good photography and good acting always help, but the plot needs to be up to snuff or the best actors in the world cannot save it. In this case the plot weakens progressively as you move forward. There are no twists to hold your interest but there is plenty of predictability. You can guess the ending so there's no need for a spoiler. This film falls flat for the very same reason that most Christian-based films fail. They rely too much on the word of God and not enough on the fundamentals of film making or story telling. They believe that all they have to do is sprinkle in a few Gospel verses into the script and mention God or any one of his many other names and there have been too many to count over the centuries. In this film the writers think they have been creative and witty to refer to God by the name of Papa. I found it to be trite and over simplified. It's much like today's Gospel songs with one hook phrase repeated over and over and over compared to yesterdays Hymns with 3, 4 and 5 verses plus a chorus. Today's Christians don't like complexity and so this film follows that trend - much to it's own demise.Because it has some good momentes and the acting is not to bad, I can't give it a 1-star rating but it's certainly not in the 5-star class either so I settled for a mediocre score.

I had watched the movie on a stream sight. God said my pastor had to see it. I told him and our first lady. They couldn't get it to stream so I bought the movie and popcorn so they could have movie night together or with there family.

What a great story and a great movie, Barry Corbin plays an excellent role of a man that speaks to our heavenly Father.We never heard a thing about this movie and both my wife and I were thrilled with our pick for that evening.It was a free to watch movie but we loved it so much we are going to purchase it so it is ready to watch whenever we want to. So good that we will watch it over and over.

Sam has a personal relationship with the lord, calls him Papa. He has to rely on his faith when he is accused of stealing a large amount of money from his church and then burning that same church down. I thought this was a wonderful movie, it makes you consider your own faith in the Lord. And how much you rely on him in your everyday life.

I cant believe how good this movie is, lmaololololol. Its a sleeper and i cant wait to watch this with my mother, lol. She will laugh out loud 🤣Great budget, great cast, great storyline. Great doesn't cover it, lmao. Also, this movie has high rewatchablity. As soon as its over you can watch it again. You will never be able to avoid it flicking channels, lol.

This is a movie for everyone. I can't tell you much for I don't want to spoiling the movie. But for any one who's has lose Faith in god and everyday living, This movie is for those who trying to talk too God. You don't have to climb to the MOUNTIANTOP but, you can talk to him with a pastor at church, home or friend. You never know that yourfriend may need your support when it comes to talking to God.Grady Ferguson

My family and I loved this movie, excellent acting, great storyline. This movie kept our attention from beginning to end. I wish there were more movies like this.

At first glance the little write up of the plotline on the back of the dvd cover leaves you with little as to what to expect in the unfolding of the plot of the movie, but once into the movie, you are richly treated with many plot turns and unexpected scenarios woven with the beautiful reality of the fact that God is a personal being looking to have a personal relationship with each one of us! Excellent movie!!!!
