Green Day: Authentic Drums Playalong

My 10 year old son who is embarked on Trinity grade 4 level work finds this book manageable and enjoyable. Some trickier bits he has to go over with his teacher but the tracks are good and the overall effect good to listen to as a parent.

Having read the reviews and description, I believed there to be a CD included which my son could play along to, but there wasn’t. The book itself is ok, but it is not what I bought this particular one for.

I'm in two minds on this one. The transcriptions are good and the sound-alike recording (minus vocals as is usual) are well above the standard for these play along books. But the drumless play along tracks have a very loud hi-hat quarter-note click throughout. It's really really annoying!!These are the exact same session recordings as on Alfred's Ultimate Drum Playalong by the way. The click problem is mentioned in reviews there too.

Comes with full musical and drum tab as well as a CD with replica tracks with and without drums. Good value for money.
