They take 8AA batteries not 4 AA .
This can be an issue if you are remote and only bring 12 batteries for 3 cameras. Also they are very hard to set the time and date . Hit the menu and it doesn't always except and just takes a picture

Video didn't work,
Did not take video. Time and money should have bought from retail.
