What is the maximum ceiling height that can be reached with 4 step?

First off, this is a GREAT ladder very well made, safe, and stable. I am very happy with it. 37" Ladder top step per ad. 60" For individuals 5 feet tall. ( if you are 6 feet tall add another 1 foot to the grand total) 12" Additional arm reach above your head ------ 109" divided by 12= 9 FT ceiling reach..................... (10 FT if you are 6 FT tall) OR use this as a guide and do your own math.

What is the vertical distance between steps?

Vertical rise between steps is just under 8”; handles are yet again another useful feature for stability in ascending & descending.

So in the title it says 5 step ladder holds 330 lbs but in the product information, it says load capacity 500 lbs. Which is it?!

I don't know that but it's very sturdy. My husband is 250# and at the top step he was able to touch our 11 foot ceiling without any wobble or concerns. Perhaps it means total weight of a 330 # person plus tools or paint that he's working with? You would need to carry up a fan or light you want to install but not if you are an exceptionally large or heavy person. Hope that helps. It is very well made and just what we needed to get to those higher places I need to clean.
