Buddy our rescue rottie hates squirrels.... Mr Squirrel (as he is now known) is as close as Buddy will ever get... so on behalf of all squirrels everywhere, poor mr squirrel has been totally savaged, slobbered on, cuddled and sat on....Photo 5 (after a week) shows a leg bent into a right angle 🥴 and what looks like tufts missing from his tail (these were on the floor) so I’m not too sure if he’d be a good idea for pups that might swallow them? The eyes and nose are embroidered so there’s no room for accidents - a fab toy for us but maybe not for all 😬😬🐿😱🐿🐾🐾

Bought 3 of these as Christmas presents for 3 dogs in our family. One of the dogs is a Jack Russell, one a German Shepherd x collie and the 3rd a Cocker Spaniel cross terrier. They have all played with them most weeks since Christmas, now 6 months later, I can honestly say the squirrels have all held their own and look good despite vigorous attempts of chewing, pulling and throwing in the air. They are still definitely at the top of the toy box.

My dog loves this, he plays tug of war with it with us, tosses it up in the air, pushes it around trying hard to get to the squeeker, but he can’t as it’s so strongMy dog is aged 3 and 8.6 kilos, but sure it would be just as strong for larger dogs, as my dog has a strong grip on him

The plush has a nylon feel and isnot very soft. Both my dogs are quite gentle with their toys normally. The ear came off within 5 minutes and some of the fur pile too. It may be they argued over it or just don't like squirrels. I worry they might choke if they are going to pull all the hair out. As ex rescues they tend to eat anything they can. Not for us.

The Gf's dog, has a thing about squirrels, so got him this for Christmas. Great size for him as a 6kg dog, and although he loves to chew the heck out of his toys, this is still intact, albeit, one little foot is dangling. He loves it and would totally recommend.

In the past my 2 and a half year old Jack Russell (also called Sammy) has managed to completely shred any soft toy and remove its squeaker within 5/10 mins of giving it to him.BUT Sammy the Squirrel has turned into his favourite toy. He spends hours playing with it, throwing it around, catching it, licking it, chewing it etc and has not destroyed it. When it is time to go to bed he will not go up the stairs until he has found Sammy Squirrel to take with him. We bought his first Sammy Squirrel about a year ago in Northumberland and have been buying them ever since. He now has 4 of them in total and they all sleep with him on our bed every night.If any other dog (or cat) dares to go within 3 feet of his Squirrel all hell is let loose. He is very protective of his 'babies'.This is definitely the best toy we have ever bought him and we will be buying more !!

Unfortunately I had to request a refund as there was lots of what seemed like dried glue all over the toy and I didn’t feel comfortable giving it to my puppy to play with or chew.

This super cute squirrel is a hit, the tail is a different texture on the soft body. The squeaker is a good quality. It’s the perfect size for my little lady and she hasn’t taken her paws off it. Difficult to take a picture as she was very giddy.
