This is a beautiful book by one of my favourite publishers. It has a great balance of technical, practical information and case studies/examples to get inspired by. Highly recommended if you’re fairly new to lime like I am.

Very hood book, a lot of infos !

Fantastic book, very thorough and explanatory.However, after page 239 of the book pages were missing and instead replaced with repeated pages that I had already read. Did anyone else’s do this after page 239?Content fantastic but I will return it and buy another in the hopes the missing pages are included this time!

Clear, detailed, innovative.

Very useful book with so much information. I'm just starting out with lime and clay, but have done lots of research. This book goes well beyond what can be found on the internet, and fills so many "information gaps". Not as much information on tadelakt as I would like, but still enough to be useful.

This book is absolutely AMAZING ! I purchased this book to familiarize myself with methods of applying hydraulic lime plaster and limewash to our newly purchased 70 years old concrete block house. I was already familiar with the subject and did not expect much from this book BUT when I started reading it I could not stop ! This book is written in beautifully simple, almost poetic manner, so that absolutely everyone will be able to understand it. It has beautiful color photographs of plasters, illustrations of techniques and even step-by-step photographs of how to do something.Even if you are not planning on learning how to plaster you can benefit a lot from this book. It goes into depth about the concept of healthy breathable buildings, history of construction and explains chemical reactions in detail and how your walls affect your health.I would love to meet the authors and shake their hand because this book they created is a true work of art !
