Go Inks4 Yellow Ink Cartridges to replace CLI-551Y Compatible/non-OEM for PIXMA Printers

We've used 4 Go Inks a few times in the past with our Canon MG7500 and normally by 4 packs of individual colours. The last batch we ordered last year and we've only just got around to replacing some of the cartridges. However, in the last few weeks we've had to discard 4 brand new full cartridges (of different colours) because the printer will not recognise them. No matter what we do - cleaning the contacts, reinserting them etc. Another, seemingly identical and brand new 4 Go Inks cartridge will then work. We've also had some stop working at circa half full. Very frustrating - especially during lockdowns when working from home and home schooling! I can't see how we can return them now so unfortunately we'll have to turn to a different brand and hope they're more relaible.

Great value replacement inks for my Cannon Printer at a fraction of the price Cannon want for their original inks.Tank size is slightly smaller than other manufacturers. I always clean the print head when replacing to make sure they are functioning correctly, sometime have to do it 2/3 times. Does not use much ink and saves problems later down the line.Obviously they will not offer you the same quality for photo printing as Cannon but for your everyday run of the mill stuff they are fine. None have failed on me yet but for the price if one chip did not work l'm not bothered.I would however prefer to be able to order the colour and quantity a require rather than in 2s or 4s. Postage is also I bit pricey but I expect this is subsidising the cheap price of the cartridge which can be misleading when comparing prices. No box, they just arrive in a Jiffy bag. Perfectly good magenta ink for your Canon Pixma. These are good quality, good value third party inks for Canon printers. No they are not as good quality as the original Canon inks, the colours will fade eventually if left in the sun and the colour quality isn't quite the same -although close. But then neither is the price. At something like 7% of the cost at the time of writing they are absolutely fine for everyday printing needs. The cartridge fit comfortably, the ink doesn't clog the printer, and if you handle them correctly they don't leak. Handling correctly means that you keep the cartridge cool, i.e., not in your hands for long, remove the two seals quickly and at the last minute in the sequence on the wrapper and put them straight in the machine. I also recommend with all third-party inks that you have a bit of tissue/kitchen roll to pat the bottom just before insertion.Why five stars rather than four? The last star is for this seller because they sell the colours individually, not in packs of multiple colours (This Pixma series takes five cartridges) this mens that I can stop filling a box with the unused Photoblack ink that comes with the multipacks, and just buy the colours I need. Not a great deal to say about these. They are inks and do the job well. I always order from this place and have always been happy with their service.
