Great book for people who want to escape their jobs and do something more meaningful with their lives. By setting up an online home business, you can live out your dreams. The author outlines seven steps on the road from being an employee to becoming an entrepreneur, and overcoming the 'employee mindset' in order to set up your own business. There is a wealth of detail and advice, outlined in an ordered and accessible way, with, in particular, the need to take advantage of online opportunities, for example the prime importance of blogging, podcasting, YouTube, Kindle publishing, and online courses in the furtherance of an online business career. Check this book out if you want to change your life and realize your dreams!

In order to appreciate the book it really needs to be read fully. that is to say you need to hang on in there. At the beginning our escape mentor said she had a vision board, which included the starting a family and then 9 months later her child was born. Of course a lot of people become entrepreneurs due to redundancy and having caring responsibilities but you would expect the plan to be one of deciding that self employment is better than working for somebody and here's how to do it. The plan seemed to evolve afterwards out of necessity.The best part of the job is the interviews and the author got some great interviewies and asked excellent questions. However, the field was restricted to writers and internet experts. If this is not how you see yourself, then the book may be disappointing. I prefer the $100 startup as it has more of the spirit of entrepreneurship and variety of routes to market. If you are the person the book was intended for then it is not bad although for me it didn't have that burning fire and passion that drives people to extraordinary success. if it is that sort of fire you need then maybe Jfdi is more up your street.The author quotes other reading sources and makes a reasonable fist at being a credible writer. "trust me, if Girish.... can do it , you can" being a weak spot since it is difficult for me to compare myself to Girish. The author I suspect does not know much about her readers compared to many authors who have years of research and speaking engagements behind them. So i supect the book offers a few insights but not all the answers.

I love Jyotsna personality! The book is really good for a good start. It gives you an overview of the steps you need to take in order to build your job escape plan. But you have to go further and study more to make this dream come true, this book is not going to give you all the answers, in case you are expecting that. Every business platform is different and Jyotsna encourages you to look for the experts in the one you choose. Actually, she introduces us to a few experts and I am already following my favourite ones. I strongly recommend this book!

As with many of these type of books it is inspirational & you do pick up some great hints and tips.However, I repeat what I asked on the Job Escape Plan Facebook page, has anybody succeeded after reading this book? Has anybody implemented the steps and seen a positive outcome?Until somebody can say 'Yes' and give the facts then all of these type of books will just remain a money making stream for the authors.

I think that for a beginner,as I am,is the best way for take action.Grab your copy now ,you will never regret.Actually I got nothing new from the author,but the motivation,the fact that you find everything put together,that matters.Thank you!

Took me a couple of days to get to this book but well worth it. It's thought provoking, practical and an easy read. I absolutely loved the interviews - great content, great ideas.
