This is the second lot of scales like this I've bought. They basically do the job I want when they work, but I've found that the digital button pad goes faulty over time - about 2 years after purchase, ie out of warranty! The tare function on my current ones has stopped working, and the scale can only be zeroed by turning on and off again. Disappointing as otherwise they do the job I want well, and I can't find similar hanging digital scales on the market to replace these.

Upon first use they seem ok, although the handle is a bit fiddly and needed cable ties to keep it as a one-piece unit which made it better when weighing many different catches.After less than 50 uses the scales stopped working, with no readout on the LCD screen. It wasn't the batteries failing and it hadn't been subjected to any extreme weather or had got wet.I contacted the manufacturer who basically said 'tough luck' and gave me a link to purchase new ones. No offer to repair them. Extremely poor customer service I thought. I won't be buying any of these again, and need to find some new ones that weigh in 1/4ozs.

Use it every day it is very useful and does everything that it is supposed to could not do without it now
