If you can get it on sale, it is a steal...
Update 3/30/2025: This little mower continues to do the job on .7 acres of lawn. I cut it every other week pretty much year-round in southern Alabama. I have extra 4AH batteries, but I never use more than two. I cut 1/3 of the lawn each day over 3 days, makes it very manageable and good exercise. The two batteries are half expended when I stop. The 4th day, I use my Debali weed trimmer, also 4AH. If you can get this for under $300, still a great buy.Update 11/12/2023: Still think this was a great buy on sale. We have about .7 acres of lawn in southern Alabama. Mowed 1/2 acre today. The first part I used the catcher and put the clippings in our compost bin. The remainder I used the mulching attachment. I have several other 4 ah Denali batteries, so I swapped out the 1/2 spent ones for two fully charged. When I was done, the remaining charge was 50%, so I did the whole .7 acre lawn on the equivalent of one full charge. The mulcher works great, chopping up a lawnful of leaves very nicely. It is important to clean this machine thoroughly after each use. Take care of it and it will take care of you...We purchased this on sale on Amazon for $189. What a steal for such a neat little machine. Incredibly light and ridiculously quiet. We have a little more than1/2 an acre of lawn. We mowed 1/2 of it today, the first time using the mower. This is not self-propelled but that is not needed, especially on flat grades. This is no overpowered beast, so be easy on it and it will take care of you. The first section mowed this morning was still wet with some dew. It handled it fine with no issues, mowing at a leisurely pace. I used the catcher for this section and in cleaned up most of the fall leaves. This afternoon, my wife mowed another section with the mulcher attachment. Still some leaves but nicely chopped. Overall, this is a no brainer. Battery life is very good. I don't think we could do the entire lawn on 2 batteries without recharging. Fortunately, we have several other Denali power tools, so we have several extra 4.0 AH batteries to swap if needed. We cleaned it well after finishing for the day. We expect that as long as we take care of it, this will last a while...

Battery won't charge right out of the box.
I bought the lawnmower in November as a Christmas for myself. It sat in the box until last night I put the batteries on the charger and left it to charge overnight. I was so excited to use my new mower and I placed the batteries in the lawnmower and nothing happened. It didn't start. I check that I was starting it correctly and I was. So I then check the batteries and I saw that one was fully charged and one was totally dead. I plugged the battery in early this morning and it should have had sufficient time to charge and it is still completely dead. Since I just opened it I had zero idea that this was goibgvto happen and the return window was 1-31-24. This really sucks. I have other electric products and the batteries are interchangeable. Amazon made this battery completely different so I can just use another battery on hand. I called customer service and I was given a number to call the manufacturer. They are closed on the weekends so I will have to call tomorrow. The only other options are to buy another battery from Amazon. I will update this review after I speak the manufacturer. This is less than 3 months old so I am praying it will be under warranty.

Good buy
If you can get this on sale it is worth it. The construction is pretty good except for the wheels which have no traction on them so they don't' help you get through high grass at all. What helps is the height adjusts pretty easily and the mower is pretty light so you can push it easily. I like the batteries on it too. They are well made and hold a good charge sufficient for both front and backyard mowing time for most size yards.

It may not be the most powerful or feature rich mower but it works well with my small lawn.
I had grown dissatisfied with my old, manual, reel mower because, when I let the grass grow it just got too hard to push (though it was great cardio exercise). Also, I couldn't get close enough to obstacles because the wheels got in the way, leaving a 4-inch swath of un-mowed grass around rocks and edgings that I'd have to trim by hand. This mower had many of the features I was looking for --- it is battery-operated, light, much quieter and less messy than a gas-powered mower, can be folded to take up less room, I can choose between bagging or mulching (I prefer the latter) and the blade housing extends to the edge of the wheels, so no more hand-trimming.I was somewhat concerned by the number of negative reviews complaining about how long the batteries would run the mower. I have a small lawn (< 1/4 acre) and it sounded like even that might be beyond the capabilities of a single charge. I have, however, experienced no such difficulty. Although I've only used the mower a couple of times, the batteries have held up well. After running the mower for a half-hour or more at a time, it looks like I have used less than half the capacity (based on the batteries' indicator lights). In any event, I had no trouble mowing the whole lawn in one shot.My one problem was, after initially assembling the mower and installing fully-charged batteries, it just wouldn't start. I tried playing with the switch, reseating, then recharging, then swapping the batteries but the mower was just dead.Pilot error. In rereading the instructions, I saw that the handle must be fully extended. Though it looked like it was, I gave it a further tug and it clicked into place, after which the mower started just fine. When they say fully extended, they mean *fully* extended.Though it may be too small for everyone, this little mower works just fine for me.
