Exactly what was needed

These mirrors do not stay in place. If you drive at highway speeds don’t get these. They move/swivel and I constantly have to readjust them. I live in a city and got them for monitoring blind spots. However within 5 minutes of driving highway speeds they have moved (likely from air currents) and are no longer showing me my bind spots and I can only reposition when I stop. Making them basically useless. They are super easy to put on and the adhesive is very strong which now unfortunately for me is going to be a pain to take off.

As others have noted, what sets these mirrors apart from others is that they are GLASS. All of the round ones I have installed over the years have been plastic and over time they pretty rapidly faded due to abrasions. But, there is is a fatal flaw in the design--they are not flat! If the convex glass mirror had been laminated with a flat backing this would be the near perfect mirror, and a super deal also. They use high quality 3M adhesive tape and the rectangular design gives an excellent wide angle view. But being forced to use the little plastic swivel mount is just a show stopper. Not only is it not stable, but it's now a dirt and grime magnet and almost impossible to keep your main mirror clean. And when you want to clean this mirror you have to readjust it. So, great idea, great price, poor implementation....

After adding this set all of our cars have this or something similar installed. These can be installed flat against your mirror (exposing the outer adhesive strip) or on the plastic angle mount (removing the inner square).These do not sit flat against the mirror if that is how you want to mount these, only the edges would adhere with a gap under the center for dirt to accumulate.I like to first use some of the repositionable gel tape to determine where I want these placed (before removing the cover on the adhesive). The 3M tape these come with holds very well, so make sure when you mount this, that is where you want it mounted.With the angle mount you have very good flexibility to position the angle to provide the best wide angle viewing for your needs.As these are made of glass, if you drop it it will break. As I am installing this set on 2 cars & dropped one, I have to place another order so I can complete the 2nd car.With these being flat you can place along the top or bottom of your mirror to get a wider view. You could also place these vertically. Overall I don't think these cover as much of your existing mirror as the round ones do.The adjustable mount could be a little tighter as they tend to vibrate out of adjustment slightly more that our others ones do. Nothing too bad so far.Overall I do like these and getting 2 sets for the price of 1of the other styles so I think this is a good value.

These do help...my one improvement would be if the back of the mirror could be black or something. Sometimes I can see the paper thing on the back reflecting in the side mirror and it bugs me slightly. I'm hoping I notice it less over time. You can't avoid this by just removing the paper because the entire back is sticky so it will get all dirty/stuff stuck to it. You pretty much have to use the little swivel piece so this is unavoidable. I've considered maybe coloring it black or something.Other than that, these are pretty cool. I like that they're actually glass and that they're rectangular/convex giving a wider field of view. I wasn't sure how I'd like these but I'm pretty happy with them minus that one issue I mentioned but again hopefully over time I'll notice it less or can maybe color it so it's less noticable. I see one reviewer mentioned that these might come off on the highway. I cleaned the surface before attaching them (as indicated in the instructions) and I've had no issue with them coming off. They seem to be on there pretty good. I also think 4 of them for less than $10 is a good value.
