Works great, but I do prefer liquid gels. I love how subtle the pastes are - you can gradually build up the colour quite easily.The only negative really it that you need to use an implement (tooth pick works best), and it can be a bit of a hassle avoiding cross contamination. You either need to apply the colour somewhere clean before mixing it into your icing, or use a clean tooth pick each time you want to add more colour - otherwise you will end up with icing in your colour paste. For this reason I now prefer liquid gels as they are more hygienic - you probably can't be as exacting though, so I guess it depends on the job you are doing.

I am very happy with this product, it provided strong yellow colour to butter icing - perfect for the lego cake I was making for my son's party. A tiny amount (a dab with the tip of a knife) was sufficient to produce a very bold colour, and because it didn't add much liquid, the icing didn't split. Depending on what you want it for though, be aware that this colour does border on orange, so if you need a sunnier yellow buy accordingly!

Good colour. The product is quite gooey though and the container makes it quite hard to get an accurate amount out without it getting everywhere.

Makes a brilliant yellow and you can achieve various different shades with this one product. Adding a tiny amount gives a gentle powder lemon, a bit more a canary yellow, then it goes to a golden yellow and eventually a more orange shade. Brilliant value for money as you only need to use it sparingly

Brilliant colour great product

I wanted to make a cake in Ireland colours and colour the fondant myself, this has to be one of the best icing colours I've ever used; I bought the golden yellow and I didn't need to use lots of it to get the colour I wanted, and with a speedy delivery you really can't go wrong. I would 100% buy this again and from the same seller too.

Worth the money

excellent product, brought it for colouring mushy peas. but use sparingly as its very concentrated, a little goes a long way
