Savage Lover: A Dark Mafia Romance (Brutal Birthright)

Liked this story and how they came together the cop though not so much.Characters are great had a chuckle reading some bits. But I do like a mafia book. I have read the other 2 books and they get better

Of course Sophie Lark has done it again! Haven’t read any of her other books before starting the Brutal Birthright series & rating #1 4.5 stars, #2 4 stars & now #3 4.75!Now I know Sophie is going to me an insta read author for me & possibly a fave of mine! I love her writing, full of plot, & spicy sex scenes!Ahem, Nero has now beaten Mikolaj! He’s taken top spot now. I loved him. And I also like Camille more than Aida now! Such a badass woman, and so head strong. Amazing couple! Amazing book!Now onto #4, I’m gonna be sad when it’s all over.

The 3rd book in this series and following the story of Nero Gallo and Camille. Plenty of action and suspense with a great plot and those steamy scenes!! 🔥. I had been looking forward to Nero's story from the first 2 books but was a little nervous about how he might behave and actually I was pleasantly surprised to find an absolute sweetheart underneath all that darkness. The 2 previous books have followed the more enemies to lovers trope and i loved that this book was about these 2 finding each other, seeing something in the other and falling in love so deeply and genuinely. Nero still holds the vicious edge to him but for Camille he's a Teddy bear! Aida and Callums book is still my fav, the banter between those 2 is so fab, but Nero has jumped up to 2nd place. The only thing I would say was missing was the climax to the story. Nothing really went wrong, it all went to plan and they live happily ever after. I was expecting something to happen with the bank owner to be honest after his threats to our heroine but the fact nothing happened kind of fell a little flat to be honest but it was still a very enjoyable read. 4.5 stars from me, looking forward to Dante's story!

3.5 ⭐️ i did enjoy it. Thought that the fmc was very strong minded. She wasn’t annoying like some characters can be. Mmc was cheeky I’d say.My main criticism was that it felt very rushed (in my opinion) it moved very quickly from indifferent to loving between the characters. I would have loved to have seen a greater depth to plot line and a better build up to the relationship.Lots of cute couple moments and 🌶️ scenes but they just felts rushed. Kinda like a synopsis for their lives.Although I wouldn’t dissuade someone from reading it - I just prefer a book that has a slightly realistic depth to a relationship. 👍

I was so excited to start Nero's book and really enjoyed his and Camille's story; it was fast paced, angsty and gave all Fast and Furious vibes, as they were both passionate about cars. They've known of each other from school and their fathers also know of each other well, but they never ran through the same circle of friends, or are hardly friends themselves to begin with.Camille lands herself in an unpleasant situation, when she discovers that brother is selling drugs. She bargains that she will sell the drugs instead of him, wanting a better life for him, and for him to go to college. Unfortunately, she is pulled over and found with the drugs that her brother had by a shady cop. The cop coerces her into being an informant, to avoid going to jail.Camille and Nero find themselves unexpectedly running into each other, and to make matters worse, is expected to also spy on Nero, due to the untouchable status of the Gallo family. Honestly I love this series! But I'm so confused as to why there is such had reviews! I'm off to read book 4!

Helloooo Nero! I had heard that this was a slight Fast and Furious vibe as a heist romance, so I was unsure how I'd feel with this book but hooooly hell! Nero and Camille's relationship got me gooood! I loved their relationship and story, it was so different yet again to the previous two in the series and added so much to the ongoing Brutal Birthright series! One of my favourites in the series! 🖤🖤

Still a good story it was t really as steamy as i expected. Nothing much interesting happened tillAbout a 100 pages before the end ;)The first part set the story would of loved to read more about these two

Since the first one, i was already excited to meet Nero. He's the kind oh character that grips you and makes you think what's going on in his head. I confess I read the second book only waiting for this one, but in the end, I loved both of them, obviously this one soo much more. But just because Nero and Camille are awesome, I loved their shared passions, and their little arguments along the way, it made me smile so much more. Also, their perfect for each other, and that's what makes it more interesting.

There is a wealth of info)Savage Lover is about Nero and Camille, two people who grew up very differently but in the same circles. Nero comes from an Italian Mafia family with a crap ton of money, and a lot of dark secrets. Camille on the other hand, is the daughter of a struggling mechanic who taught her everything he knows, and the sister of a kid genius. She grew up poor, but always had a strong backbone. She's struggling with bills, her father being sick, paying for her brothers college and the problems just keep getting piled on until she gets tricked into a deal with a slimy police officer. Now she's having to do things and put herself in situations entirely out of her comfort zone, which puts her directly into Nero's orbit. Nero and Camille are completely different people with opposite lives, but they have common interests and values, and they quickly realize that there's a burning chemistry between them. And boy, is it HOT.I seriously love this entire series. Callum and Aida will always be my favorites, but after getting to read Nero and Camille's story for a second time, I think they're definitely a close second. Nero is just so wholesome, and Camille is the type of strong FMC that I love to read about.This book has some great romance in it, but it didn't overshadow the plot at all. I was interested throughout the entire thing and never once got bored and I loved the bonus chapter. I felt like we really got to learn more about Camille's family and the people Nero and her grew up around. And don't even get me started on the character art. Sophie's artist nails it every single time.

Enjoyable and easy read.

I found the lead up into the story slightly slow, but once we got Nero and Camille together, it all clicked and picked up.As someone who had known her husband casually for years before we got together, I can totally appreciate how fast things moved with Nero and Camille. Plus both of them are older than Aida and Nessa in prior books and neither have this romanticized vision of life and love.Camille is an adult, who grew up fast and knows who she is and despite what she feels, she came across CONFIDENT!Nero has always seemed so aloof, so seeing him suddenly feel responsible and vulnerable was such a welcome change. Eager to see bits and pieces of them in the rest of the series to see how their relationship evolves. It was like we only got a small snippet of what they can be together.

I love that the story is part of the “Brutal Birthright” universe but it adds new flavors like cars, stealing jobs and lots of action.Every female character has been very different and amazing at the same time. Camille is not the exception. I love that she’s a badass and is amazing in a male dominant field like cars and mechanic.Nero is the perfect guy for her and he becomes amazing with her. They find each other bad the best part is that they discover the place were they Can feel like the favorites: eight each other. 💜
