Bought them to easily attach smoke/heat alarm to the ceiling (our handyman wanted £80 for the job). They work perfectly. Very simple to use.I did have to select a smoke alarm that allowed for a magnet to be attached to the back and one that I could change batteries without removing the magnet (I prefer the type I can replace batteries).

Using these magnetic discs to attach smoke alarms on the ceiling, allowing for easy removal and reattachment (Previously we've used 3M Command velcro picture hanging strips - which also work fine for this purpose).Ordered these specifically because they have 3M adhesion pads AND 3 magnets on the discs - other varieties have only two magnets and I thought that a triangular 3 formation was more stable. Also, note that these discs are 70mm in diameter. Most of the others I saw were only 50mm diameter. A couple of our smoke detectors actually have a 50mm hole in the back, which would have made these tricky to attach if they were also 50mm.However, the magnets are quite strong (especially for just supporting smoke alarms) and in hindsight, I would choose a two magnet (70mm) disc if reordering (and they're cheaper!). These magnets are too strong to pull directly down, we have to slide the smoke alarm sideways before pulling it down.

No more drilling, or fire alarms stuck on door frames!! Just to point out you can use on artex ceiling if you stick them onto it with Gorilla glue. Very hard to get off the alarm once stuck so probably best to stick onto new alarms not ones that are nearing replacement, you can prise them off and get new sticky pads but it’s bit tricky and the metal bends a bit. If you’re in doubt as to whether they’ll stick to your ceiling remember that if your alarm falls off it may be damaged ( like mine was !) and you’ll be buying a new alarm. Tell everyone in your house how to get the alarm down - slide sideways.

I've tested this for a while now and it's still going strong. It's a good alternative, quick and easy install. I've used it for fire alarms. Would highly recommend this product.

Super quick and effective. Have used same product before and those are still working many years later. Easy to check smoke detector regularly and dust etc.

Impressive adhesive magnets

The magnets are excellent. The quality is great. You have to remember that you cannot remove the magnet once you have connected the plate. It has a very strong sticky side. It does mean - no drilling, can move the detector to another area and its quick to put up.

These are an excellent product as they stick easily and securely to walls or ceilings and hold the smoke alarm with ease. The magnets are very strong which is great. I would definitely recommend them.

Excelente producto,fantástico un potente adhesivo y la fuerza aimentada muy buena,según la información de la página puede sujetar hasta 600 Kgramos.Luego si sustituimos los detectores por otros una vez usado el adhesivo con poner un adhesivo nuevo de doble cara estos imanes nos duraran siempre.Para los que hayan tenido problema con los detectores Heiman ya que el soporte que activa el detector girándolo no nos deja colocar el adhesivo del soporte magnético una solución es utilizar esas patillas pequeñas que van sujeta al soporte de techo y utilizarlas para bloquear el botón de activación a modo de taco y ahora podremos utilizar toda la base del detector para poner el soporte magnético

Acheté pour fixer un détecteur de fumée au mur sans avoir à percer. Comme je suis très content aussi de mon nouveau détecteur je vous mets sa référence : tapez B07V5TZNKP dans la barre de recherche Amazon.Diamètre de 7cm, idéal pour détecteur.Forte adhérence, mais possibilité de moduler le placement ou d'enlever facilement l'objet fixé grâce aux trois petits plots aimantés. Si toute la plaque était aimantée on aurait une trop forte aimantation (difficile de repositionner l'objet et risque arrachage du support, là c'est juste ce qu'il faut). Supporterait beaucoup plus lourd que le détecteur, montage possible au mur ou au plafond.Un produit bien pratique, qui fait gagner beaucoup de temps. Ich habe eine größere Sammelbestellung von insgesamt 10 Rauchmeldern vorgenommen und wollte die günstigsten magnetischen Halterungen dazu bestellen.Wir haben bei uns Stahlbetondecken und haben bereits öfters Probleme gehabt dort Dinge zu befestigen, daher die Magnethalterung.Die Montage war sehr einfach. An die Decke gehalten, ein Kreisrundes Stück Raufasertapete entfernt und anschließend mit dem Klebepad die Metallplatte an die Decke gepappt. Die andere Seite auf die Halterung vom Brandmelder (Ei Electronics Ei650) und fertig.Die Rauchmelder halten fest und lassen sich einfach austauschen. Der Kleber haftet sehr gut.

..Super.....auch bei Fehlfunktion des Rauchmelders...
