Works perfectly
Great value for money and solid quality. It is indeed Cat6 as advertised, with no issues at all. For most home networking setups, there's really no need to spend extra on anything above Cat6. This does the job perfectly.

Dependable Cable, Minor Connector Quirk
This Amazon Basics Cat6 Ethernet cable delivers reliable 1Gbps speeds with a 250 MHz bandwidth, making it ideal for streaming, gaming, and home networking. The 14-foot length offers flexibility for various setups. However, the connector boots are notably bulky, which can make plugging into recessed wall sockets a bit challenging. If you’re using standard ports, this won’t be an issue, but it’s something to consider for tighter spaces.Overall, it’s a solid, affordable choice for most networking needs.

Amazon Basics Cat6 Ethernet Cable - Good Value, But Be Cautious⚡️🔌😐
If you're in need of a reliable Ethernet cable for your home or office network, the Amazon Basics RJ45 Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable could be a solid choice. 👍 At an affordable price point, this cable promises fast transfer speeds of up to 1Gbps, making it suitable for various applications like server connections, cloud computing, and HD video streaming. One of the notable strengths of this product is its universal compatibility. 🤝 With gold-plated RJ45 connectors and a 250 MHz bandwidth, it should seamlessly connect to a wide range of network components, from computers and printers to routers and switches. Additionally, the durable PVC outer jacket offers protection against wear and tear. However, it's essential to exercise caution when setting up this cable. 🚨 Some users have reported issues with the connectors not fitting snugly into certain network interfaces, leading to potential connectivity problems. It's crucial to ensure that the connector is fully inserted and securely locked in place for optimal performance.Another aspect to consider is the cable's longevity. While Amazon Basics products are generally known for their decent quality, some customers have experienced premature deterioration or signal degradation over time. 😕 It's advisable to closely monitor the cable's performance and replace it promptly if any issues arise.Overall, the Amazon Basics RJ45 Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable offers a decent value proposition for those seeking a budget-friendly option for their wired network setup. 💰 Just be prepared to double-check the connections and potentially replace the cable if it fails to deliver consistent performance over an extended period. Happy networking! 🌐

Work and great value but careful with wall sockets
Ordered these as had ethernet wired in the house. They work as advertised, are very good value but with one potentially annoying issue for a lot of people. They plug in fine to a completely exposed ethernet port but for me the wallplates we have installed which have a little slider that moves up to plug the cable in the sheathing on these is very far down towards the end of the cable meaning it's very much a struggle to put them in and get the required 'click'. I have used some for other purposes and they are fine but may end up cutting away some of the sheathing.
