Creative Thinking!
I gave this item to our great nephew for Christmas. His Mom and Dad said that Ben and a friend of his thoroughly enjoyed using the instructions for the kit to put items together and then also doing their own designing of things they worked together to make.

Building a Brighter Future (and the Coolest Robot Ever! )
My 7-year-old nephew is now convinced he's the next Elon Musk, thanks to this awesome Engino Solar Power Building Model Kit. It's not just about slapping together some plastic pieces – this kit is packed with enough science and engineering to make any kid (or adult, let's be honest) feel like a genius.First off, the variety of models you can build is impressive. We've already constructed a chopper car that whizzes across the floor, a fan that actually blows air (goodbye, sweaty summer days!), and a robot that looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi movie. And the best part? They're all powered by the sun!The instructions are clear and easy to follow, even for a 7-year-old with a short attention span. And the included theory and facts booklet is a fun way to learn about renewable energy and why it's so important. We even did a few of the experiments together, which turned into a hilarious (and slightly messy) science lesson in the kitchen. But this kit isn't just about fun and games. It's a fantastic way to introduce kids to STEM concepts and get them excited about engineering and science. Who knows, your child might just be the next inventor of a revolutionary clean energy solution!Overall, the Engino Solar Power Kit is a winner. It's educational, engaging, and most importantly, it's a blast to build. So, if you're looking for a gift that'll inspire the next generation of innovators, this kit is a no-brainer!My Rating System Explained:⭐️ 1 star - Unfortunately, this product falls short of expectations due to its poor quality. I cannot recommend it.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - While there are aspects to appreciate, the product suffers from significant drawbacks or is priced too steeply for its value. It's difficult to recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - This product is adequate; it presents some issues but generally meets basic standards of quality. It's a reasonable option for those willing to overlook its flaws.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - A commendable product that delivers on its promises. It provides a satisfying experience and is worthy of consideration.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - An exceptional product that exceeds expectations. It offers outstanding quality and value, making it a top recommendation.

Fantastic S.T.E.M. building set
Engino S.T.E.M. Solar Power Building Model KitThis is a fantastic S.T.E.M. building set.I’m a science nerd, geek, enthusiast. I was that girl with the erector set that built bridges and added motors to them for draw bridges etc. lol.I’m an adult and am thrilled with this kit. It is so much fun to be able to build so many things and have them powered by solar. They say you can build sixteen different solar powered models however if you get creative you can come up with your own too. This set is award winning and comes with a downloadable app which lets you build in virtual reality also.I’m working on the robot at the moment and will be trying to modify it into a cat robot. I don’t find it difficult at all but I’m an adult and I love a challenge. My 10 year old self would have done cartwheels and screamed to the rooftops to receive a kit like this. If you have a child who loves S.T.E.M., puzzles, building, projects, reading and knowledge, please get this for them. It’ll teach them about renewable energy sources, problem solving and critical thinking skills. It’s durable because you can take it apart and build something else, it’s versatile because you’re really only limited by your imagination and it’s a great value.Highly recommend.

A good set but could be more independent
So this is a great stem kit, food for young engineers to be sure. The parts are quality and have lots of fun options. I do wish the kit had more ability for kids to really explore and expand from what it is but it is a great kit that will fill a rainy day and get used aftewards as well.

Learning AND play
My 12 loves STEM projects. He gets a STEM mail order box monthly, but this is a huge step up from that. I had to wait to write this review because he has been grounded, but now that he's started playing with it, I can share the results. The parts seem robust and not easily broken with multiple assemblies and disassemblies (which is great, because the kid has not yet discovered finesse). He has already assembled it into three of the possible options. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to capture a picture of any of his creations because, by the time he tells me he built one, he has already moved on to disassembling and building another one. As soon as I can, I'll update this review with a picture. On thing that stood out to me (that I didn't realize before I ordered it), is that the kit comes with a booklet, not just instructions. It several pages explaining (in language a 10 year old could understand) renewable energy technologies, biofuels, and other general information plus it has a couple of pages of quizzes. For now, I can say that the kit seems complete, everything works, and my 12 year old loves it.
