These are just shin pads , but were rejected by the academy during fight as they didnt had toe cover, good for practise but will not do for matches

Does the job!
I am now an old man with delicate shins which may ulcerate if not protected. These are the best protection I have found so far. A bit stiff and uncomfortable the first time or two, but now I'm happy to wear them most of the day. The padding is reassuringly thick and stout. I shall probably order a second pair.
