No names, just one night…even if they both want more.I wasn’t sure what was going to happen in this prequel after reading the blurb for Pucking around before seeing this. However, I thought this was a great way to be introduced to Rachel who is the FMC. This was short, spicy and just a great start to a new series. Jake was so bubbly and cute in this and he just embodied the golden retriever vibes. I thought this was going to be a why choose novella seeing as its linked to picking around but it was MF which actually makes me excited to see how things change in the main book.

Ahh this was such a cute novella I love jake and Rachel already! Seeing their chemistry right from the moment that they meet I couldn’t help but ship the, together. They are so magnetic and I’m going straight onto the next book because I need to see my mystery boy and girl get their happy ever after.

This book was so good. I loved it being a quick introduction and all things smut. Can't wait to read the next book

Many things about this annoyed me. It's a larger print format so the book is taller than pucking around, it's also printed on bright white page whereas Pucking around is on a off white page. They look ridiculous next to each other. Also the description says print length 122pgs. Which is technically true, however this story is only 73 pages long. The rest is the first 5 chapters of pucking around. Had I known each of these things I would've got the kindle edition and not the physical copy and saved myself some money

This short and spicy prequel novella was hot, hot, hot!Rachel and Jake meet at a hotel where she's had some bad news and he's on his own as his sister's flight got cancelled.Both of them have instant sexual chemistry and agree to spend the day and night together.These two had some major sparks flying and they connected more than physically.I can't wait to read more in Pucking Around.

I mean if you’re like me and fell completely into this hockey obsession pucking universe then it was just a given that I had to read this prequel, it’s only a novella which is even better to get a dose of hockey spice to stay in this world

Oh my gosh! I wanted to read this before Pucking Around, and I'm so happy I did. Jake and Rachel's story is fun, smutty, h0t, and sad. I found myself laughing, smiling, sweating, and crying. The author has a writing master style that makes you really feel what the characters feel. Everything was so intense that I wanted more. I'm happily starting Pucking Around right this moment.I totally and absolutely recommend that you read this!

Oh what a fantastic prequel novella this was! I loved every minute of this quick read. It was sweet and oh so steamy!These two had some great chemistry and an instant connection. I am beyond intrigued by both of them. Especially Rachel, I want more of her back story.I am looking forward to meeting the other guys and reading Pucking Around. I can’t wait to see the dynamic between them all and watch Rachel and Jake reconnect.I enjoyed this authors writing, so am excited for more fun in a full length novel!4.5⭐️

I'd call myself a regular spicy romance reader. While I read this, I texted my book bestie to not text me for another 2 hours. This was the most beautifully love encounter I have read in my life.
