IF YOURE INDECISIVE
FIRST YOU SHOULD KNOW: I got these for casual gaming on my ROG Ally and I love them. LATENCY: with gaming mode is hardly noticeable, I mean I can't even tell. It's like Ray tracing. If I go looking for it I'll find the latency, if I'm just casually gaming I don't notice it. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND these if you intend to play competitively, obviously you want all wired for competition. QUALITY: Far as I can tell, quality is awesome, bass is solid. I've always noticed Asus ROG puts some good sound quality in their devices (I've owned the zephyrus g14 before, those speakers and the Ally speakers are noticeably better than competitions) BATTERY LIFE: as I've stated I'm casually gaming. Longest session I had was a bit over an hour and the battery life went from 80% to 60% ish HANDLING: Using those touch sensors is no big deal. My ONLY COMPLAINT is the voice that says what mode you're in? It sounds like they recorded it in a kitchen with an iphone mic. ALSO CHANGING EARBUD SIZES IS AN ABSOLUTE PAIN BUT they are firm when they're finally on. ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING: Mine also came with a defect, ANC doesn't work on the left earbud, just makes a weird hissing noise. Nothing I've thought of to try has fixed the issue, I'm returning these for another. I'll update for ANC when I get the new set. UPDATE: The ANC works well, it's not Bose quality but it helps eliminate distracting noise, and I'm not sure why there's low and high ANC? I'm only going to use high ANC, ambient, or off, so switching from one to another I'll encounter "Low noise cancelling" roll my eyes and switch again. The ambient mode is nice too for when I go to the store wanting to listen to punk rock or play games on break at work. I'll add another star since the new set works as intended. SO: I love it! At most I can get a few hours of solid gaming with no wires attached and I love that. The only other defect I find is when I played Halo MCC. Best way I can describe it is it goes from being normal to big echo-y room and crap quality. Doesn't happen everytime but sometimes. Hopefully the new ones coming in won't be as defected. UPDATE: The speed nova does NOT have a slot to hold the 2.4ghz dongle like the delta S does, personally a deal breaker for me, I'd lose that thing in a week

Great set of gaming earbuds
I’m digging these ROG Cetra true wireless gaming earbuds. They are comfortable in the ears, come with multiple ear piece sizes, connect to Bluetooth without issue, and have awesome sound. The battery seems like it last through a good gaming session. The earbuds connect flawlessly with the Armoury Crate app, and once some EQ tweaking was performed, the sound is clear and amazing! I have been using these with my new Xbox ROG Ally X and they have been working great on the system. There is a little lag, but it’s minimal in my experiences. Definitely a quality headset and not too expensive.

BEST QUALITY SOUND QUALITY EARBUDS
These are top-tier gaming wireless earbuds with impressive noise canceling, bass boost, and a gaming frequency enhancer for immersive sound. The companion app lets you customize sound profiles and even change the lighting colors, which adds a fun touch. Only minor issue I faced was the default ear tip size being slightly large, but the extra rubber caps solved it easily. Overall, excellent build, sound, and features — perfect for serious gamers looking for quality and customization.

Can't recommend. Not worth the money. Mostly problems.
I originally got these for the low latency and an alternative to over ear headphones. My experience with these have been awful. Even though the description says 22 to 27hr battery life, in reality its more like 45 minutes. What they don't tell you is that the 22 to 27hr battery life is the battery of the case not the earbuds. While using these on my PC, the audio would randomly turn to garbage after playing with good audio for a few minutes. This is because of the hands free audio (listening and using the mic at the same time), which bluetooth can't handle very well and ruins the audio. I have also noticed that the left earbud does not charge as well as the right. Making the usable battery life even lower. At the time of writing this I am thinking of returning these. The only upsides are that when the audio is playing properly it sounds great. When using the game mode they are low latency and I can't really tell if there is a delay. In my opinion, don't buy these.

By far, the best buds ever purchased!
I read all the reviews before finalizing my decision to purchase these buds. The reviews were mixed, but I decided to purchase them because my husband is very set on ROG products. By far, hands down, the best decision I made! These buds are phenomenal! They sound way better than the Beats, in my opinion. There are some things that have to be done to get the best quality sound out of these buds. These aren't your typical Bluetooth connect and go buds. •Download the Armoury Crate app •Allow app to run in the background •Go into Device Configuration •Click on your buds at the top •Set the sound to Movie This cancels out any fuzzy/lag sound that other reviews are stating about. The ANC is amazing! When set to High, you can not hear anything outside of what you are listening to! My absolute only gripe is, all main controls are set up on the Right bud. Only the ANC is controlled on the Left bud. Hopefully ASUS updates the controls and allows the end user to set up the buds how they prefer. I prefer all my controls on the left. I highly recommend these buds! Hands down!

Great sound but glaring design flaws.
The pros: + The style, looks very cool, very futuristic, no visible buttons. + The sound quality is superb. + The noise cancellation is superb, have used in noisy environments and on planes and if the buds are fitted well (noise isolation) then the noise cancellation works really well. There is also a sound pass-through mode in case you want the opposite of noise cancellation. + The mobile app, it's optional, it's large, but it's okay, shows charge levels for each bud, and enables options like Virtual Surround Sound (increases perceived spatial separation) and Equalizer. + Gaming Mode, I believe it is a low latency mode since typically audio over Bluetooth has a lot of buffering and lag. I don't think the app is required to enable this mode, it can be toggled from the right earbud or the app. The cons (design flaws): - Uses capacitive touch sensors instead of tactile buttons. I press them by accident all the time simply when trying to adjust the fit, touching my hair, or even when picking up an earbud that fell out. It also makes it impractical to hold one earbud in the hand without unintentionally messing something up. - The capacitive 'buttons' are placed right behind the driver/speaker, which is right where I naturally want to press in order to push the earbuds deep into my ear holes. So to put the earbuds in my ears, I have to very carefully and awkwardly press around the unmarked touch sensors or handle them by the stem and it's very ineffective. I wish they used tactile buttons instead and/or put the buttons on the stems instead. - The earbuds slide out of my ears all the time, I always have to clean my ears and clean the earbuds to keep them from sliding out, and even when they are in I always have to keep adjusting them. I have this problem with all earbuds not just these. But for wireless earbuds the consequences of having a bud slip out by accident can mean losing the bud forever. Someone needs to invent a way to scan each person's unique ear geometry and 3D print tips that fit. - The way to unpair the earbuds is undocumented. However I discovered by accident that the way to do this is by holding down the touch sensor (on either left or right ear bud) for about five seconds or longer. - Holding down the left earbud 'button' for a few seconds opens up the devices 'assistant' (google/siri/cortana/whatever). I wish there was an option to turn off this feature with the earbuds but there isn't. On one version of Android in particular it would always play the assistant chime at maximum volume (regardless of any volume settings on the device) and it made me go deaf, it's really not safe, but thankfully it's since been fixed in the latest version of Android (13 at the time of this writing). Unknown: + Built in microphone quality, I have not used it.

frustrating setup, worse quality
Cats kept batting at my wires, so I decided to UPGRADE. Installation: 2/10 why do I need to review the setup for headphones anymore? I should be able to open these up, connect them to Bluetooth, and listen to my "girlfriend cuddles you and tells you it's all going to be okay ASMR" without jumping through HURDLES. Listen, I know I barely passed 3rd grade, but why do I need to google how to set up headphones for my PC? the instruction manual only covers the mobile phone setup and I've got to get some serious dubbrookies with the boys on OG Fortnite. Having to install software, then not knowing what to DO with said software, and looking for help online is just not it big chief. I spent at least 30 minutes of my Physics 3 lecture updating drivers and installing software for WHAT? And then it just decides to work after unpairing it, opening it again, and doing some black voodoo magic on the blasted thing. Sound quality (Music and gaming) 4/10 For 100 dabloons, I better get Travis Scott directly sending 808s and bass Amazon Prime same-day delivery to my eardrum, and the treble better hit harder than a 1940s househusband who lost the big promotion. NOPE! everything is so muddled and doesn't hit in the slightest, even after changing multiple knobs and switches. It's not the worst in the world, but there are so many better (CHEAPER) options out there in the wild than this Gamer RGB-looking crap. not worth 1723 pesos. The gaming sound isn't any better; everything sounds so lackluster and doesn't immerse me. I cant hear flashes, and I'm blinded while trying to hold A on Mirage. Overall: 3/10 buy these if you want to look cool while getting lackluster sound after 3 hours of frustrating setup.
