This is an excellent product. Although not cheap it is very well made and easy to assemble and install. Once installed I thought it looked pretty good and would do the job very effectively preventing a break in. I later thought I could have probably made my own by buying the steel from a well known diy shop. However I am very satisfied with the product, ease of installation and overall look.

Solid, great quality product. Does what it says on the tin! Would highly recommend and very happy. Used on garden shed to protect entry via window panes. Used own screws, otherwise would not be able to remove if needed to change window panes if they got broken as comes with un-screwable screws. More than safe enough without un-screwable screws!

Arrived on time and well packaged. Screws and wall plugs also included which is a nice touch. Quality of construction is good, with tidy welding and a full powder coating in white. Telescopic tubes makes these bars ideal for my application which is cellar openings, as the width across the brickwork of the opening is not the same top to bottom. Once fitted with the supplied fixings I could put my full weight on them without movement.

Strong and easy to fit. I will put up inside so won’t use the security screws but what great thinking supplying these with them. I like another reviewer wanted them in black, shame no choice, but spray painted them with ease, but adds to the cost.

These security bars are excellent. Really strong and we'll made. It was hard to find white bars, which I really wanted. Very pleased with them.

Used this on the bottom part of my back door as extra security due to a rise in burglaries. Easy to fit and hopefully will do the job

We purchased these to fit across window and the fact that these were adjustable was extremely good as we needed slightly different sizes. We had to have these sprayed black as this was colour customer required. Would be handy to have option of black and white. Very strong and easy to fix. Would recommend

Sehr praktisch ist es, dass passende Schrauben mitgeliefert werden, die sich vorsichtig mit einem handelsüblichen Flachschlitz-Schraubendreher hereindrehen lassen. Vor dem Hereindrehen sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass man kleine Löcher vorbohrt, denn ansonsten rutscht man mit dem Schraubendreher immer wieder ab. Wichtig: Wenn die Dinger einmal befestigt sind, kann man sie nicht mehr herausdrehen, sondern muss sie herausbrechen oder die Schrauben wegflexen. Aber das ist ja auch der Sinn der Sache. Alles in allen eine tolle Lösung, die zur passiven Sicherheit beiträgt und einem potenziellen Eindringlich das Leben erschwert.

Constructed of powder coated steel, these window bars are sturdy (estimated 12 AWG). They offer flexibility in lengths to adjust to most windows. There are no color options (other than white) at this time. I purchased 2 sets of these at $125 plus shipping, and I found them to be worth it at that price (they have since decreased in price). The supplied screws leave much to be desired - others have mentioned the difficulty in installing them, let alone the difficulty in uninstalling them, as intended, but that can be overcome with patience, soap, and pre-drilling - they are about 1.25" in length and in most applications would not be long enough to be embedded in the rough-in framework around your window that would provide the strength. However strength should be less of a concern, because anything can be broken into; delaying the intruder is the primary objective as a deterrent. If you plan to use the supplied screws, you will need at least 1/2" embedded length, but the flange on the bar itself is already 7/32" thick; plan accordingly. Screws of #8 size diameter will work with this product; anything larger will likely result in the need to drill out the holes in the flanges to accommodate. The annular space between the two bars, sleeved together, is about 1/8". Overall, quality control is pretty good; however, I will mention that some flange plates are not welded perpendicular to the bar (<5% of the welds at 2-5 degrees deflection, which seems like a negligible angle but can be prominent when flush mounted to a sill, showing as gaps). In addition, I was provided an extra piece (half of one bar, so to speak) in one of my two orders. An important consideration is that these will not meet fire/building code egress requirements for a bedroom, as they are permanently mounted. In contrast, many other window bars on the market provide for emergency removal and would meet fire/building codes. Overall, they are a high quality product and I would purchase again.

Utili per l'uso cui sono destinate, ma non molto piacevoli di aspetto.

Barras muy buenas , tuve que comprar a parte tornillos por que los que traen son muy malos! Es un producto recomendable !
