What a brilliant product. Took me less than 2 minutes out of the box to set it up for my Humax box and Sony tv. The look and feel of the remote is excellent and does not show from its affordable price. The button operations are smooth and quiet (unlike the Humax remote that it replaces). I had to set up a button for the List function which didn't go as smoothly as the initial set up. I'm not sure why as I followed the excellent instruction manual to the letter. However, after a few failed attempts it finally worked. I highly recommend this product.

I had another One for all remote, so I bought this with confidence. How wrong I was. I wanted it to control a TV and Sky Box. However the thing which made the other one a good multipurpose remote is missing on this one. That has a button for each device and a separate on/off switch. This has one button for each device, which switches it off when you select it. So rather than the buttons having different roles on the different devices, you cannot switch easily between the two. As a result it switches both on and off, it does volume and stuff well, while you can programme it to work one or other reasonably, but not both well. That defeats the whole purpose of a unified remote. It needs separate buttons for the separate devices and a few more buttons overall. Almost worthless as it is.

I bought this as my Dad had two Sky+ remotes that both had different bits not working. I thought it would make life easier... Works most functions with no problem. I then realised that there is no dedicated record button for Sky+. There is also no dedicated button for fast forwarding through recordings. I had to programme the blue button for recording, but the other coloured buttons are needed for other functions eg deleting recordings, so I could only re programme one button. My dad still has to use his old Sky remote just for fast forwarding through recordings, so hasn't helped as much as it should.

Difficult to program for overseas sat receivers; but finnaly managed to get it to copy previous remote. Works well. Feels durable.

We bought two of these. One for my father in law who has dementia and one for us. We set up Alfs easily two his tv and to his frees at box. He still struggles to use the controller but it is better than him struggling with two. Ours was even easier to set up as it is just for the TV. The only button I miss is the previous chanel button. One feature I really like is the back button. Slightly annoying is the click on each press of the chanel up or down button.

100% compatible? Won't programme for either my TV or my android box. Cannot even "learn" which is why I bought it. In learn mode it never flashes to say it learnt a single button. I'm Scan mode it never turned the TV off, it basically just does not work. I even tried every single region just in case, not one function worked. I also tried using the code for my TV, that didn't work either. Worthless..

You can program any button to do anything! Simple and easy for my elderly mum to use.
