True to size and comfortable knee socks
These are actually good knee socks. Detailed review, based on one wearing:I bought these socks specifically to protect my legs in the woods while playing disc golf. In the heat and humidity of summer when I wear shorts and golf skirts to play the sport, there are health risks to my lower legs: getting scratched by thorns, brambles, and branches; being bitten by deer ticks carrying Lyme Disease; poison ivy, oak, and sumac; cockleburs and stinging nettles. These things are everywhere in wooded areas of the Midwest and it's impossible to avoid them entirely (shank a throw, and you're hunting for your disc in deep bush).I chose white socks so that ticks would be easy to see. They also match my white athletic shoes, so the color choice does look intentional, and white is a neutral that goes with everything. A girl has to look good while playing this sport! It's an advantage... Maybe the boys will be distracted by how cute I look and not play as well as they otherwise would have. Hey, man... If these socks help me win by distracting other players, then all the better! As for quality and comfort, they exceeded my expectations. The length of the foot area was true to size: I have a size 11 narrow foot. I'm a tall woman, so clothes and shoes are often tricky and don't fit well. I bought the size 9-11 sock, which was surprisingly perfect for me. The toe area was roomy and at first, I was dubious if the socks would bunch in my shoes. But I wore these socks with shorts all day yesterday - at work, doing yard work, grocery shopping and cooking dinner, and they were comfortable for the full day without making me feel too hot. The fabric is thin compared to the acrylic cable socks I wear in winter. The top band of these socks stretched over my calf without binding, and the length was a surprise- tall enough to actually reach my knees; I have long legs and often women's tall knee socks don't actually reach my knee but end somewhere in the middle of my calf. The only negatives about these socks are: they are quite soft, so anything in the woods that wants to grab at my legs is going to stick to my socks. I'll be picking cockleburs off them like crazy. Also the white is going to show dirt and our heavy clay soil causes staining, so I may have to do some extra soaking if these socks get muddy.Ultimately ... Would I buy these again? Based on one wearing, yes. I might update this review if any problems arise; and if I continue to like them, I may update the review if I love them and purchase other colors.

Comfortable and durable
These socks are superb! They stay up (just to the knee) without being tight or restrictive and they are warm and comfortable without being too thick for my shoes. I've worn and washed them countless times through the cold winter, and they have held up quite well, maintaining the original shape and elasticity.

So great, I just reordered!
I wear knee socks and I have pretty skinny legs but socks in the past seemed tight. It's like they're even too tight around my feet and nails... and as I said, I'm skinny. I weigh about 100lbs with a size 8 shoe. But I thought I'd try these and they're perfect. I selected the larger size, thinking they might shrink and they're just great. They stay up fine but they're not too constricting. They have a nice soft feel. I have no idea how they'll last but I was so happy with them, I just ordered more. Those tight ones are going in the back of the drawer. HA

A good find...
Could not find my Ariat or Real Tree women's cowboy boot socks anywhere. Bought Wrangler brand and they shrunk when washed and are terribly tight and uncomfortable. After searching and searching I found Cotton Day. I read all the reviews. They are not cowboy boot socks (reinforced heel and toe and a bit thicker). But the length is perfect, they did not shrink after being washed, and they are very comfortable, but they are thin. Be advised that they run a bit bigger. Upon further inspection, these socks are Boys 6-9. Not Women's. A good find.

These socks are GREAT!!
LOVE these socks! They have just enough stretch that they actually STAY UP without constricting my blood flow. They're just the right weight, not as heavy as my wool socks, but still a little warmth for comfort. My only complaint, such as it is (and I understand why they do multi-sizes), I wish they could combine the sizes. My 9-11 span tends to creep around my foot a bit when I walk. But despite that, these socks are worth every penny!UPDATE: July '24--I still love these socks almost as much as I did when I bought them last winter--BUT I DO have a WARNING!! They are 'machine washable', BUT DO NOT PUT IN DRYER!! I bought a three-pack, which is now basically a two-pack, since the one pair I threw in the washer and dryer SHRANK about two sizes! They're still as stretchy and as comfortable, BUT they are no longer knee-highs, more like mid-shin-highs. I'm glad I realized all this in time to save the other two pair. So REMEMBER---washer, but NO DRYER and you'll be fine.

These are the ones you're looking for!
These are the socks I've been looking for! My daughter's school uniform required knee high black socks and we couldn't find any that were good quality, comfortable, would stay up, weren't too hot, too sheer or too tight. Four years too late I've finally found them! I love these socks ❤️. They are cotton, comfortable, so soft, great quality and awesome value. I'm definitely planning on buying more. Very very happy with them. Calf measurements 16 inches.

Thinner Than Expected
They’re nice enough socks; soft and comfortable, but they are much thinner than I expected and I wasn’t even after thick.

Great knee socks
I love these socks!! They are soft and no seam at the toe to aggravate me. They are not too thick or thin, they keep my legs warm and don’t slip down and not too tight at the top! I bought 3 more sets and gave to family members!!!
