Compatibility with RM750
Type 4 cables do indeed work fine in type 3 PSU's, however not all of them and with the exception of the 24 pin cable.Usually I would return an incompatible item but since buying this kit replaced my missing second 4+4 pin cable and they look great, I'll make do. Additionally, since I am in the middle of upgrading my PC and haven't decided if I am going to get a second GPU or not, I may end up replacing my PSU anyway so these will be very useful for that in the future.As they are, they are great cables. Perfect for my build. The cable combs are a bit too tight and make placement very difficult but cheep replacements can be found elsewhere to make life a lot easier.I do recommend these to anyone looking to buy them but do check compatibility. Whilst tpye 3 and type 4 are interchangeable in most cases, that is not true of all PSU's and the 24 pin cable will not work on type 3 PSU's no matter which one you have.

I like these for quality and visability
Really high quality at a price, but in white you are always going to spot a loose cable. Heavy as so well made. Arrives sealed and in retail carton with window at front. Case seals at base with two round stickers.

An excellent cosmetic upgrade for Corsair PSU's. Good quality braiding.

Don't bend them too much prior installation.
That's just an esthetic upgrade. Cables looks nice, has got capacitor in line with the wires, even if not necessary. Once bent is difficult to put it back to look clean and straight.

24 pin doesn't fit HX1000i
These generation and type are confusing. Just remember the HX1000i uses Type 3 generation 2. The 24 pin won't fit the HX1000i

Make sure you have a compatible PSU !
Got these to complement my red and black build. But these cable are type 4 cables and the ATX power cable will not work with my PSU (Corsair HX 750i) as they are different connections to the type 3. Had the other cables already installed when I seen the mistake. Wish the seller would put TYPE 4 cables on the heading so other customers don't make this mistake. Couldn't return them as I had already use the other cables in my build.
