They are to be blessed afterwards by their new owners. They are to be worn devoutly & are NOT to be considered as superstitious items to flaunt or display. They are not to be treated as talisman, charms or amulets! Catholics are required to be educated & be made knowledgeable by their importance, their power & their role in the growth of one’s spiritual life; by reading the Catholic catechism, inquiring & asking your spiritual confessors/directors & other reputable Catholic resources; so as not to be misled or misguided. These are powerful sacramentals that go beyond the sacred & give powerful graces when used devoutly with faith!

Q: Is the purple scapular woven from wool or some other material? If not wool, then what material?

I am not sure if it is wool looks like felt to me. Too give protection for your house hang it so it can be seen from the front door.

I would guess that they have 2-3 layers of felt. There was no information with them to indicate what the material was.

Hi, it doesn’t come with any prayers. I suppose they can be worn; however, they are large. It is not a regular scapular worn around the neck. I don’t regret ordering it. I thought they would be stamp size. It would have been nice to have prayers to accompany it.
