I usually have a lot of trouble straighting my curly thick hair. This brush does the job very well with minimum effort. It heats up very fast and doesn't pull on your hair at all. The trick is to make sure your hair is completely dry before straighting it usually this brush, that will give you the easiest and fastest experience with the brush.So I have past the shoulders length, thick curly hair and it takes me about 20 to 25 min total to straighten it using this brush.The results are great as well, no frizzy hair, no poufiness and no flat liveless hair. I have a similar item I bought from Amika about 5-6 years ago for $110. I used it about every day for those years. It was very loved. I travel a lot for work and it got broke. I wasn’t in the mood to buy a new one at that price and chose to buy this one.I bought this one for about $20. And it is shaped and works EXACTLY like my $110 one. The plastic on the handle is a little cheaper, but not a problem since I won’t be traveling with it as much.I have long medium to fine hair, and it works perfect for my hair. My natural hair is wavy and frizzy. Not curly and not straight. So I straighten my hair every single day. Even when I wear it up.Would buy this 10/10 times again.

This product COMPLETELY DAMAGED MY HAIR 😭. I’ve never had any issue using any flat iron with a regulated temperature of 350 degrees so I assumed this product would be something good to try.My hair was COMPLETELY DRY when I used this tool. Since I wasn’t familiar with this ionic straightener, I lowered the temperature to 310 to be safe. I wasn’t looking to straighten my hair with it, but used it to get the curls out of my hair before I completely straightened it with a flat iron. When I used this tool, I didn’t part my hair in sections. I quickly used it all over my head as if I was combing my hair out. I still had texture to my hair which was great bc I wasn’t trying to get a full straightened look. A week later, I washed my hair and my curls are COMPLETELY GONE!!!!!!!!!!! I am so disappointed in this product. I’m not even sure Olaplex will revive my hair at this point. Definitely not recommend for fine hair.

If you need a dependable electric brush this is the one, I do not perm my hair because this brush keeps it straightened. My thick hair is thin now because I use it everyday.
