Getting the knots done correctly
The curly spikes are plenty long for the task and installed easily. The only trouble I had was with the knots - a Boy Scout I am knot. So it took me a few tries to get it right. For me the instructions for the knots was confusing. There is a video review by a customer that shows it really well. That helped a lot and I got it done in a snap. Looks like a very good product, well made, sturdy, and weather/rust proof. One more thing: this product comes with a sliding tension bar that allows you to increase/decrease the line/rope tension as is needed during windy weather. Some of the other products do not include this. I'd buy it again in a sec.

Good system to protect or correct young trees.
Remember staking young trees is good but not tightly bc young trees need to sway in wind to grow strong roots & trunk. All items are quality & heavy duty for young trees , thus high pricing. Very s Sturdy screw stakes, straps with quality in the world rivets can gently correct young tree or protect it from wind storms. Wish one could have choice in strap length or width, but its long enough for trunk diameters not larger 3-4 inches. Of all many stakes sets I’ve seen, this is very good set without buying special order set from tree nurseries.

Great for larger trees
Due to stake design, they will hold up very well with the kinds of heavy winds we get in the valley. In rocky soil, they are a bit hard to screw into the ground however. That took some doing but got it done! Use a large wrench or heavy duty screwdriver and it'll get the job done.

Easy!
We bought this product because it had the spiral metal spikes vs just the kind you tap in with a hammer. Having just replacing several trees after hurricane Ian, we want to be sure the new trees are secured in high winds. If the spiral stakes can hold large dogs from pulling them out, it should work better than just a small tent stake. Fingers crossed we won’t need to find out!

Outstanding customer service
The stake broke in half as I was screwing it into the ground and I wrote an adverse review. I was immediately contacted by the seller and they made it right. Their customer support and responsiveness to a problem is truly impressive.

Lots of support options
I had a small tree fall over. It was very much alive. I ordered this and stabilized it with all 3 steaks. It was a bit of a challenge to get the steaks in but that was probably my weakness. It has handled the wind well and I think our tree will make it

Cherry Tree Standing Against the Wind
About five years ago, I planted a cherry tree on a rocky ridge subject to a strong wind from the south west. The tree has grown but is increasingly leaning in the direction of the prevailing wind. I used a front end loader to straighten the tree (picture 1). I then used the FCENDS tree stakes and supports to hold the tree in position (picture 2).The FCENDS product came nicely packed and appeared to be of high quality materials, particularly the tension resistant nylon rope. I decided not to equally distribute the stakes around the base of the tree as shown in the instructions, but rather placed all of them in a direction to resist the prevailing winds. The three stakes auger-ed easily into the soil which was filled with rocks and roots. I sunk them at an angle into the direction of the tree so that the tension in the ropes would tend to sink them even deeper (like a hook in the ground). The rubber "tensioners" shown in the instructions were not included in the kit, but I do not think they would have worked anyway. Using the supplied straps I tied each line to the eyelets in the straps using a Boline knot. At the stake I tied the line using a fisherman's knot and a series of half hitches. I then slowly released the tension on the cargo strap used to straighten the tree, and the FCENDS straps and ropes took over. The kits comes with a generous length of rope, about 3 meters (10 feet). This was more than what was needed so I cut off the excess. I then used a butane torch to cauterize the cut ends to keep them from unraveling. The finished results looks good, definitely holds the tree straighter, and will probably last the two years or more mentioned in the description of the product. For this tree, however, a slightly heavier duty version of the product may have been better... time will tell.
