Could i use this to sand a small room floor?

Shouldn’t be a problem for it, but bare in mind that it is a heavy powerful machine so it can easily gouge the floor of your not careful, or over sand if you leave it on the same spot for to long, I would practice on a scaffold plank or something if you have never used one before so get a constant smooth finish or your floor will be lumpy, you’ll also need a orbital sander for the edges, this won’t go right to the edges. I would use a decent dust extractor too or it will fill your house with dust.

What size belts does this take tganks

I’ve got mine from amazone : VEWERK 20 Mixed Grit Sanding Belts 610mm x 100mm 60 80 100 120 Grit 9028

belt won’t stay on even though right size and I’ve tightened it

The sander has a tracking control on it which needs to adjusted to make the belt run straight once it is fitted. The adjustment knob is the small black one which sits below the front handle on the side. Failing this the belt will slip if the rollers are dirty or the rear of the belt has become coated in foreign matter due to sanding. Things such as old varnish will cause this as the heat from the sanders rollers will make the dust stick to the back of the belt. You could clean the rollers using turpentine as well as the rear of the belt or else fit a new belt. Could also be the belt as it may have stretched but this is more of a quality issue, on mine I only ever used makita belts and never had a problem. These are the only things I can think of. Remember these belts will wear after an hour or so of use depending on what it is you are sanding

Is this a professional sander

I think it is heavy duty and it is solid I have hammered it for over 1 year and still going strong. Professional- depends if your snobby or not. You’re not going to get what you call professional for the price of this you would pay 3 times more. But it works well
