I was honestly looking for some cute stitch markers, but found this set instead. I'd only recently started crochet so I figured for the price a set of 12 hooks and a handful of basic notions (including basic stitch markers) was hard to beat. I've actually been very surprised with the quality of the items included. The storage bag is very durable and holds all of the items (plus several I did already own) with ease. The hooks are very comfortable to hold and use. I really like that the size is stamped into the rubber so it doesn't wear away like a printed size would after use. The only item that didn't surpass my expectations was the measuring tape, but in all honesty, it's a measuring tape and I still use it regularly, it doesn't have to be exceptional.I would (and have) definitely recommend this as a great set for new and experienced stitchers.

Slightly shorter length than my other set, Which is perfect for my short fingers! Nice, comfortable grip. The metal hooks had a light coating that caused some drag, but within a few rows of crochet, it was all gone and smooth.

I love the grips on these they’re much more comfortable than the regular metal hooks. I was a little disappointed because they were much shorter than the one hook that I had before to compare to. Because of this, it’s harder to do long stitches like the treble crochet or even double crochet because the yarn hits the silicone part often as you work.

I haven't gotten to use everything yet but the good thing is I received everything, nothing was broken, and came on time. I'm still pretty new to crocheting but after using the $1 crochet hooks, these are 10x better. My hand doesn't slide down the hook, and I feel like I have more control over what I'm doing. It makes what I'm working on a little faster for me to finish a project. The neck is a little thicker than on the cheap ones so it's easier to make stitches.I love that I have a tape measure and a small pair of scissors. When I'm waiting in the school line or doing something where I have time, I can finally cut yarn instead of starting with a different yarn. Having metal needles is really good too, even tho I still like my plastic one (it curves however I want), having all the stitch holders is always a plus. And I have no clue what the orange thing is but I will find out.The only problem that might not be a problem later is the stitch counter. I'm very happy I have it but it is very hard to turn. I have to kind of maneuver to try and change the number. I feel like if I use it enough hen it won't be as hard but I will find out.And lastly for the bag. I read a good amount of reviews and I just thought it was silly to take stars off for it saying knit a scarf. I'm just happy everything fits in the bag. But I also knit too so maybe it's just me. (I do wish my knitting needles also fit) I bought it on sale so it was a great deal! I would definitely buy it again!

This kit is great. My teen had to take a fibers class and needed all sorts of crochet tools and we had absolutely nothing in the house. No crocheters here, so we wanted to get a kit with everything our beginning crocheter might need, This kit was teacher-approved and when she saw all the goodies that came with it, she made a note of it and recommended it to other classes/students. My daughter has Raynaud's Syndrome and sometimes using her hands when she is too hot or cold can be an issue. We were worried about her comfort/ease during the crotchet process, so we mainly picked these because of the soft grip. She says the ergonomic grip is very comfortable for her and much better than the extra classroom metal ones. All of the items and pieces are included as shown.

This little kit is perfect! I can take it anywhere with me and it holds everything that I need. Seriously a game changer for my crochet hobby. Perfect gift also for a beginner since it has everything you need. The hooks are very sturdy and I don’t feel as though they’ll break. The handles are also very comfortable. I am surprised at the quality for the price.

I had so much trouble using hooks with no rubber and after I purchased this hooks my crocheting times had became the most comfortable ever, no more pain in my fingers, and the product is just cute. love it
