We were looking for something small and lightweight, with side compartments for a drink, a bungee on the front, and a chest clip. These backpacks fit the bill. We ordered a few of them, and have been using them on various outdoor adventures over the past several months. My only wish was that it did not say "kids" on the front of the backpack so that older kids (who only need a small backpack for outings) don't think it seems too young. Great color options, and the straps are padded and comfortable. So far they have held up well, and we are happy with the purchase!

We used this for our 3 year old as a carry on. He was able to wear it himself comfortably and have it full of clothes, toys and a beloved blanket. Color is great to easily spot in a crowd and material is nice quality. I can see him using this for a few years.

This backpack is very sturdy and durable. We went for a hike and it was very lightweight. Great purchase.

This is the perfect size for my 4 year old! It’s cute and lightweight. However, it is not quiet big enough to comfortably fit a binder. We can force the zipper closed but it probably won’t hold up the whole year like that. If it weren’t for the binder issue the bag would be perfect. We will use it for as long as it holds up, so far it’s been a month and no signs of wear yet.

I ordered several backpacks and while this one wasn’t as thick as others, it fit my 3 year old son the best. Not too wide or tall like some others. He loves the chest clip and it’s the perfect size to hold the plastic folder that his school provided. He has it cinched all the way which allows room to adjust as he grows. I like how it’s not cheesy looking, has functional pockets, and the bungee is stylish and functional as well. I can’t comment on how it would hold up to some rough abuse but it fits our needs perfectly. Planning on him using it next year too!

Perfect size for preschoolers or for adult wanting a handbag sized accessory. Been using everyday for two months-lots of useful pockets and zippers are easy/durable. Will fit iPads and tablets but not laptops-plus there’s no (IMO) additional padding for heavier electronics anyway. Fits 8.5x11 papers looseleaf/spiral notebooks but probably too small to accommodate bigger paper notebooks or trappers. Straps adjust a lot and I was pleased with choice of colors. Kept stuff dry in moderate rain. Top hand strap is sewn well.
