Atlas Headrest Designed for the Herman Miller Aeron Chair (Fabric)

Having treated myself to an Aeron after wanting one for about twenty years I decided to splash out on this headrest too. It’s solidly built and matches the chair well. I had originally wanted to get a mesh one to fully match the design of the chair but I read that they tended to grab and pull at your hair.The fabric headrest is made of soft fabric and what feels like maybe a gel layer under that. The result is a very comfortable place to rest your head. So much so that I will admit to nodding off during one of my less interesting conference calls, fortunately only briefly while muted with my camera off.It is expensive on top of an already expensive chair but my hope is that both will last me many years so I’m okay with investing a little up front now. My back feels better already.

Product itself is excellent and well designed with easy installation and very comfortable once adjusted properly. However, the packaging was a bit less than ideal (especially for something that needed to ship internationally from the US -> Europe. When I opened up the package, the metal clamp that attaches the whole assembly to the chair itself was loose in the box rather than secured in the plastic wrap with the threaded screw and allen key) and bent out of shape so it wouldn't clip on to the chair itself properly (Classic Aeron, Size C). Easy enough job to bend back into shape with a pair of pliers, but not ideal for such an expensive product (and expensive shipping).

The review box prompts with "what do you like or dislike". I don't dislike anything about this unit. It was easy to install and configure.In fact it's so comfortable that I can't count the number of naps I've fallen into with it. And it offers precise positioning of my head and neck, so my lower back problems are fading

This is a good product easy however the problem is that it’s back had something hard from iron and it touches my walls and harms it:(

Agree that it’s overpriced for what it is. However, it’s an essential add on for the chair. Easy to instal. It is locked into place with screw knobs rather than Allen key. So much much better design this way but does come lose every now and again. I was worried that it may be too short. It’s fine for me at 6 foot but if you're 6ft 3 will be too short . Please understand that this is not an integral part of chair and will not give you as solid support as an in one chair. As a bolt on it does give much need needed neck support. If one places too much pressure on head rest, it will lead to knobs loosening. Thus, it does job to provide occasional much needed support!!!

From UK is expensive. But to be fair, build quality seems to be in line with the EM Aeron chair. Happy so far.
