Bought for my daughter. She loved it.

Junji Ito’s latest book, “Mimi’s Tales of Terror,” is an adaptation of various short stories by other author, transformed into manga form by the master of horror himself. While Ito’s artistic prowess is undeniable, I found myself somewhat uncertain about the content.The female protagonists in these tales often come across as somewhat annoying and useless, which made it challenging for me to fully connect with the narratives. Personally, I have always been more drawn to Ito’s original stories, where his unique vision and storytelling abilities shine brightest.

as someone who has collected all junji ito books so far, i would say this one is very good! the stories were very spooky and well written, so definitely worth the purchase!

Haven’t finished reading yet but good so far. I won’t judge Junji for the stories as he didn’t write them but so far it’s ok, wouldn’t say his best work. Stories are very short especially the first one.
