Synoquin Small Breed Synoquin Small is a nutritional joint supplement specifically formulated to support joint mobility in small breed dogs less than 10kg. Synoquin Small Breed is available in sprinkle capsules which can either be given whole or opened and mixed with food. Synoquin can also be purchased in medium (10-25kg) and large breed (over 25kg). Why Synoquin? Synoquin has a unique formula that contains 5 ingredients that all play a part to help with joint support. The 3 main ingredients are glucosamine, chondroitin and dexahan. Glucosamine and chondroitin are the most popular ingredients to be used for pain associated with osteoarthritis and it has been shown that by also adding dexahan, it has an even better effect. Initial Loading Programme- Six Weeks 2 capsules daily (1 am 1 pm) - for maximum benefit it is important to complete the loading programme. Maintenance Programme- Long Term All dogs respond differently to supplementation - however in general after the initial loading programme the daily intake can be reduced to: 1 capsule per day and if required increase intake by ½ capsule every 4 weeks or contact your veterinary surgeon. It is a fact that up to 40% of dogs that are overweight can develop orthopaedic issues. By loosing as little as 6% of their bodyweight can help with mobility and a high fibre and high protein diet can influence a weight loss. Do not exceed the initial loading programme amount / Do not lower suggested intakes unless advised by your veterinary surgeon.
