You don't have to be a scuba diver!
This headlight is great! It is very bright on the low setting and crazy bright on the high setting! It's built like a tank and I have no doubt that it's waterproof as described, though I'll never take it diving. I'll use this for working on the car and that sort of thing. I also will use it when I have to go inspect buildings where there is no power or working lights. Nice to have a hands-free flashlight. I love the fact that it's rechargeable and that it gives you a warning when the battery is getting low. (I'll just have to remember to charge it...) The rotating switch on the side is perfect and easy to operate. I was a little concerned about the part that actually holds the light in place. It's just held by two rubber loops, so I wonder if that will loosen over time. But guess what? They included a spare mount, so if it does get loose I can swap it out. There's a definite "pro" for the mount, though...because the light is just held by the friction of those two rubber loops, you can rotate the light to any angle so you can put the light exactly where you need it. I have other headlights that have maybe 3 positions and I find that many times I can't get the light right where I want it. Not a problem with this set up! They also included spare O-rings for the battery compartment. All in all, I'm very pleased with this headlight!

Well built headlamp
What: a headlamp in a metal housing, powered by 18650 battery, with a rubber strap and rubber mount. Comes with spare O rings and spare mount.Pros: well built, good beam (spotlight not a flood), comfortable.Cons: unidimensional. I was hoping to be able to use this product not just underwater. Think night skiing as well. The problem is that the mount system only works with the strap. You can’t put this on a GoPro or other hard mount for instance. This makes is totally appropriate for its advertised use in the water but someone what dimensional.Overall Thoughts: the price point is $50 but there is a $10 coupon. $40 is in line with competing products. Unsure if I would trust my life with it but it’s fine for basic water use. Happy that they didn’t cheap out and included the battery, which is rechargeable via USBc.

Great little light, very bright, light weight, nice strap
I have other headlights. I have other scuba diving headlights. This one is slightly brighter than the others. But that might also be because the light is focused more. The battery life seems pretty good. It says "18650" on the side of the battery, but it has a USB-C charging port right on the side of the battery. That might be a bonus since I don't have to have a separate charger. I only have to have a USB-C cord, and AC adaptor. But I'm wondering if this is a standard 18650 battery or a proprietary form. This headlight is a little smaller than my previous scuba headlight. It weighs slightly less as well. The strap on this is an improvement. For whatever reason, my other headlight tends to slide up and down and sometimes comes off.The controls on this are a bit more obvious as well. I can't imagine ever using the flash mode, so I don't want to have to cycle through it every time I use the light. This light has the flash mode on the last setting of the dial. And since it's a dial, you select only the mode you want by turning the dial. The rubber mounting bracket feels a bit more sturdy than my previous light. It's still made of rubber and I'm sure it eventually will dry out and crack (that's what rubber does). But the rubber straps are a bit bigger and feel stronger.

Great Value
The media could not be loaded. Excellent scuba light. Light has two brightness settings and a flashing light. Light has a nice beam with a good field. I used this light on a prop switch for a tenant at the marina, water is very murky and light usually is to defused to see well. This light with is focused beam and bright LED lights worked very well and was able to penetrate the dark water. Light holds a good charge and is comfortable to wear. Great addition to my scuba equipment that will get a lot of use.

Nice headlamp
If you need a super bright headlamp, this is it. Admittedly I do not scuba dive but got this because I needed a nice headlamp for working in the garage and I like that it uses a replaceable 18650 battery which I have a ton of already. It's built like a tank, solid metal and heavy. It's almost too bright on the highest setting. I imagine this would work great for diving, but I can say it is a fine all around headlamp as well. Would recommend.
