I Love My Hair!

Beautiful book

My daughter loves it.

Myself and my pre school group looked at this book together. The children reflected on their own hair and commented on others hair in the group. It was a positive message for all those little girls who dislike their hair.

Absolutely beautiful 😍😍😍 EXACTLY what I was looking for! I want my daughter to always know her hair is literal Gold. We spent so long as black women hating our hair because of society that we didn't realise we had the hair of Queen's. Well we know it now!!! and we will not subject our babies to the rubbish we went through! I can't wait till my princess is old enough for her to understand the importance and significance of such a book 👩🏾‍🦱👩🏿‍🦱

This is a lovely story but aimed at a very young child. Beautifully illustrated and aimed at girls with Afro hair it tells a very true to life picture. I did think of returning it as it is too young for my granddaughter but have decided to keep it anyway as I really love the book and it's excellent value for money.

FINALLY!!!!! my hats off to Natasha - this is amazing. For any body of an ethnic background who doesn't look like everyone else around them this book teaches you self love from an early age. !!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE This book.

Love this book bought for my granddaughter she's still young but I read it none the less mainly I talk about the pictures and loving her beautiful afro hair

Any little child with an afro can relate to this book. Beautifully written. When reading it, it was like listening my daughter - it's exactly what happens / she experiences. A must for black girls! If you have a child with mixed heritage and are learning about their hair, this is a fantastic introduction for both of you.

I love this book because it is so suitable for young Black Girls who lack pride in themselves. Black hair can be beautiful. It is different from other groups. This book teaches Black Girls that they have beautiful hair that stands out and is so attractive and healthy. Black hair is strong and can be styled in so many different ways. I purchased more than one copy of this book to give to several Black girls

I'm trying to get my son to appreciate his hair because it it awesome. We live in Spain and not many kids look like him at his school. I'm trying to teach him self-love at a young age. This book is great.

Super sweet book about the exciting first haircut of your life. The boy is scared of the sound of the clippers but eventually finds the courage to sit through the haircut and feels proud to look "just like daddy" afterwards. There is such few books about hair for Black boys and we are loving it!
