I regularly need to use a tens machine and needed one at a budget price. This one ticks all of the boxes. The snag with the budget ones is that it has leads and wires, it makes it hard to use it and move about. If this is important to you then you must pay more for one which is wire and lead free. Especially when going to bed and trying to sleep or if needing help with moving about.

I have been in pain for nearly nine months. Sometimes constant and sometimes unbearable. Recently was diagnosed with chronic nerve damage. Then a physio gave me two simple exercises to do and told me how and when to use the Tens machine. The change is already amazing. In about 24 hrs the pain started to reduce and at times I am even pain free. Am now hopeful that I will get my mobility back.

I've not used the typical TENS applications but there are muscle stimulation programs that work very well indeed. The 'massage' setting are lovely. In a way they both also tend to block pain signals on my lower back - swamping those nicely and exercising the muscles. Pads are nice and sticky and retain their stickiness over many uses. Causes a little itching after an hour but that vanishes once the pads are removed - my experience anyway.

All in a strong storage case with clear instructions. Using as directed by physio for activating pelvic floor muscles, and finding easy to use.

Love this item! Dual banded so you can use four sticky pads at any one time. Great variety of choice of channels to use. I love the manual turn dial to increase or decrease the intensity level - much quicker then the modern push button styles. The leads are a great length too; you could easily use one set on one part of ur body and the other set on a different party without any issue due to the great length of leads.

I expected to be disappointed but feel so much relief now! I haven't sussed out all the settings yet so just choosing random settings. I didn't know this would make such a difference but it really has! Plus, it's so easy to travel with.

I do have another Tens unit and when I saw this one I thought it looked good especially with some of the reviews. It comes in a nice hard case with pads and leads together with an excellent little instruction book.The reason why I wanted this was that the amplitude control was at the top where on my other one, from Body Clock Uk one has to open it up and digitally increase the amplitude. With this one it is just a knob on the top with a sliding cover to protect the knob once set.I connected it to my left side where I have damaged the muscles around my ribs. I was able to set the mode and amplitude but it was very weak and just did not help with pain reduction. My Body clock machine called Profile Tens works much better but it is all digital and if one requires to increase the amplitude the cover has to be removed and then one can alter everything. Whereas with this unit the control is on the top.I feel it is a pity that a nice looking tens machine in a hard case is not that effective due to the output which states that it is 100mA, I have measured my one and I managed to get 55mA not anywhere near the stated 100mA. As everything else works I cannot state mine is faulty except it is just weak signal.

I’d been having an incredibly painful episode of sciatica which this device really helped with. It can be difficult to turn on and adjust but that doesn’t affect the performance.
