La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer, Daily Moisturizer Face Cream with Ceramide and Niacinamide for All Skin Types, Oil Free, Fragrance Free

I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer for a few months now, and I love it! It’s super lightweight, non-greasy, and so hydrating. I have sensitive, combo skin, that is acne-prone and this calms any redness or irritation without clogging my pores.I really like that it’s fragrance-free and oil-free, and packed with ceramides and niacinamide—my skin feels soft and balanced all day. It soaks in quickly and works great under makeup or sunscreen if you use it in the morning.Only thing to note: it doesn’t have SPF, so I use a separate sunscreen in the morning. Still, this moisturizer is a winner.

Before this moisturizer, I was using CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I later learned that it wasn't actually repairing my skin barrier. I had pretty bad acne in the past so I use a lot of prescription actives that can dry out my skin, and would sometimes experience dryness despite using the CeraVe lotion daily. My dermatologist recommended this moisturizer instead to heal my skin barrier and...wow. I haven't had any dryness since. On top of that, I was hitting a wall with my actives; they weren't as effective at fading my acne scars after a while. But once I introduced this moisturizer (and stopped scrubbing my face with a washcloth), I actually noticed them starting to fade. It does have a slight scent, but it's worth it for how effective it is. Highly recommend if you have acne scars or a compromised barrier.

This is the best moisturizer I’ve used thus far. It’s pillowy soft, and it pairs nicely with my serums. My skin looks youthful and supple— which is saying a lot because I have not been drinking enough water this week. You wouldn’t be able to tell at all. So far, it wears well under makeup. I had some pilling this morning, but my sunscreen was the cause most likely. It absorbs really well. It’s not heavy or greasy, but it works. For reference, I have oily/combination skin. Most products aren’t “one size fits all”, but this one is as close as you can get. Give it a try if you’re thinking about it.

I didn’t hate it. I sell skin care and a customer wanted me to try this. It moisturized as it promised. Hi end product{s} and so not cheap. It is super thin almost runny. Skin feels great right after use.

This moisturizer paired with tretinoin healed my 4 year battle with rosacea. I was routinely battling rosacea and was so self conscious about the flare ups. I finally was prescribed tretinoin and told to use it in combination with this moisturizer. It works! Now, if it ever flares or if any of my kids have an acne out break or skin irritant I have them use this moisturizer and it alone will repair the skin barrier and their issues will resolve within a couple of days.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer is amazing! My dermatologist recommended it for the extremely dry skin on my face caused by 3 months of topical chemo treatments. WOW I didn't expect to see results in 24 hours and I never expected to see my skin ever look so smooth and young.This is now my Face Moisturizer and it costs less then half of the big C name brand I had been using!

I have only used this product once, so I will have to update later, but so far it’s a decent product. I like that is has SPF, as I use a mild at-home chemical peel nightly. The texture isn’t heavy like a regular sunscreen and I don’t notice any scent to it. As of right now the only issue I have is that it leaves my skin feeling slightly greasy and with a very, very mild burning sensation but these may get better with more usage. I do like that it does make my skin feel softer even with the slight greasy feel and I don’t feel the rougher skin anymore around my cheeks and sides of nose, so I’m loving that! A little goes a long way, so it’s a decent size for the money and so far it seems like it will be effective in keeping my skin hydrated and soft.
