FANMATS 14899 NCAA Texas Tech University Red Raiders Chrome Team Emblem

I bought the TTU sticker, and it is great. My girlfriend has the "on brand" version for her car, so I figured I would pick one up for my truck. It is half the price of hers, and looks just as good. It is about three inches tall, and two and a half inches wide. It is slightly smaller than the "on brand" logo, but looks just fine on the back of my truck. Definitely buy it if you are thinking about it.

Looks great and installs easy. Good size and a little heavier than I expected, but it looks good on the car!

I've had this for about a year now. Within the first few weeks, the decal went from silver to all black. I thought it might've been dirt/grime from the exhaust but the silver actually wore off as the black wouldn't wipe off or wash off. I didn't really mind it because it made for a, sort of, stealthy show of pride with an all black Double T decal on an all black vehicle.Today I finally got tired of it, ordered a colored car decal and attempted to remove the silver, now black, decal. I was extremely dismayed to discover that the adhesive did not just peel off of my car. I've tried soaking it with soap and water but there's still a strip of adhesive as well as a portion of the foam still stuck onto my truck. I'm afraid to use more aggressive methods as it will ruin the paint on my truck. It's not your typical build up of glue where you can just rub goo-gone on it and it'll just come right off. It's the actual clear adhesive tape, which is extremely thin and will not peel off. In addition to the foam backing that has essentially disintegrated and left pieces all along the strip of adhesive stuck to my car. Usually, some gentle scrubbing with soap and water and a soft paper towel gets the trick done but this is really stuck on there. Now I've got an ugly stripe on the back of my truck and can't even stick my new decal over it but it's not a flat surface now. I would NOT recommend this to anyone that has any sort of pride or values their vehicle. Hell, I wouldn't even put it on my lawn mower.

I'm giving FANMATS a 5-star rating for customer service. While my car emblem arrived damaged, which is disappointing, they are issuing a replacement. I can't wait to get my new one to give to my husband since it was supposed to be a Christmas gift. Thank you, FANMATS!
