My daughter love this book

This book was given to my two children as part of their ‘World Book day’ challenge back at the start of their schooling (First Grade or pre-K equivalent) - it’s a slightly simplified retelling and resetting of the classic fable put together by the Famous Greek novelist Aesop. For those unfamiliar with it, the parable of the Ant and the Grasshopper is one of a series of fables designed to deliver wisdom using simple analogies. It’s a classic of its genre and one that has lost none of its impact over ensuing decades. The illustrations are beautifully composed and although the story is reduced in scope this is one that I feel, in this format would be memorable for younger children- 4 stars and would recommend

The book was for a topic at school about ants. It's a decent story for the children I was teaching but the pictures were somewhat unrealistic. Ok for the price though.
