This works as described. I was hesitant in purchasing this because of some of the reports of leaks. The one I got does not leak. To test for leaks turn off your air tank at the valve on the tank and wait overnight. If there is still pressure in your lines in the morning then your system is not leaking. Leaks can occur anywhere not just in the lines and connectors. I close the valve on my tank anyways after use just ti be safe.

I've been using sodastream for over 10 years and refilling my own bottles from a 20# CO2 siphon tank for at least 8. While that has served me well saving time, and money compared to using the company bottler exchange program it still added inefficient steps involved in the refill process. This product has solved that for me and best of all I was able to get it all set up in less than 10 minutes. The most time consuming was cutting a notch in the base of my old genesis so the tubing would feed underneath the device to prevent crimping. I did coat the threads on both connections with food grade silicone grease to prevent leakage but I'm not sure that was really needed. It works great, installs quickly with no leaks and plenty of fizz.

I researched this for a long while. A subscriber to the soda stream canister refill program, I was hesitant to try this method.This device works great. follow the procedure and you wont have an issue. open and close the co2 tank for each use and bleed the excess from the line after each use. I have used this now for over a month and it has worked great and as described. Instead of paying $55 for 4 refills, with this system saving over 50% and it is lasting longer.

I grabbed this ("Older item fit Jet Aqua Fizz" style) to adapt a DrinkMate OmniFizz to a 20 lbs CO2 tank from my local gas supplier. It worked great for a month before the TR21-4 valve started leaking. When I removed the pin from the valve, the clear o-ring was badly damaged, dry, and cracked. It came off the pin in pieces! The orange o-ring shipped with this kit is not the correct size for this particular valve as seen in the photo, but the seller does have a style of this product called "O rings for black adapter" which I have on order. That style also includes a video on how to remove the pin and which part to replace. Otherwise, good metal parts, a nice quick connect for the hose, and I can't complain too much. At least it is serviceable.

I switched over from a different brand of line as I was getting foul taste rubber like in my carbonated water. Happy to say once I switched to this product the smell and taste went away! Thanks!

This thing drained a 5lb tank in 4 days. Couldn’t hear it leaking but by the 5th day it wouldn’t there wasn’t enough pressure to carbonate the water.Wasted a lot of money between this thing and a tank.

Easy to install and has been going strong for a month. Great investment. If you are looking for a Co2 tank, check local brewery supply stores. The airgas store in my area WAY overcharges for tanks and refills so had to shop around. Found a used 10lb tank on fb marketplace and refills for it are $30

I got tired of the prices on my soda stream cylinders. I went with a five gallon tank because the company I got the gas from said they rarely carry tens for exchange.Much more pressure than a SS tank I opted not to get the regulator or shut off valve.
