My dog will not get off it,lol.

My German Shepherd dog is getting older and starting to struggle with her hips, so I wanted to get her a more comfortable and supportive bed. I had tried a different bed a few months prior with a really soft base, but it was too small and my dog wouldn't use it. This bed is much larger and has plenty of room for her. It's also a perfect density- soft but not too soft. It's like a good adult foam mattress.So it's getting a lot of use now, which I think means that she really like it.I gave it 5 stars overall because I think it's a great primary dog bed.I gave it only 3 stars on Durability because it's not like one of those beds you'd use outside and hose off or anything- it's a simple indoor bed that doesn't need to be very durable. So it's perfect for my needs on that, but if you need something really durable for outdoor use (or a dog that chews their bed?), perhaps look elsewhere.

This bed seemed like a great deal for a large, thick dog bed, but the design problems are numerous.The bed itself is large and thick, with a nice stiff feel. The cover looks nice and attracts dog hair, which is a plus in my book (I'd rather have the dog hair on the dog bed, insetad of flying around the house). Unfortunately the material is a little thin and won't hold up well to major tugging and pulling, which would not be a problem for me and my well behaved dogs except...Everybody who doesn't just have totally gross dog beds is going to want to remove the covers and wash them regularly. Well, this bed only has a zipper across one end of the bed - and it is one of the narrow ends. Combine a tight fitting cover with a stiff, thick foam bed, add a single zipper across the small end, and you have a recipe for disaster. Pulling the cover off is practically impossible, and putting it back on is even worse. Tugging and pulling on the cover has it trying to rip at the seams, and grabbing at the foam inside reveals that it is cheap foam, which comes apart in chunks if you grab it with the slightest pressure.It is so frustrating to remove and replace the cover on this bed that I find myself placing it where the dogs won't use it as much as the other beds. It's a shame, because once the cover is back on the bed is nice and thick and cushy. It would have been so easy to have the zipper go down two sides, but Amazon had to cut corners to keep the price down and this one really shows.Two stars, and that is probably generous. Really disappointed in this bed.

Das Bett gefällt mir sehr gut, sowohl auf den Abbildungen als auch in Natura. Es ist wunderbar verarbeitet, der Bezug ist waschbar, es passt sich jeder Einrichtung an - eigentlich alles super. Es ist nur nicht sonderlich beliebt. Ob ein Rand fehlt, ob die Matratze etwas zu hart und bucklig ist - ich weiss es nicht. Seit noch ein Vetbed drauf liegt, nutzt einer meiner Hunde das Bett gerne. Der andere nimmt es nach wie vor nicht an.

My lab is hard on bedding. We’ve purchased many different mattress/beds for her and they’ve all fallen short. This is the ONLY one that has held up for longer than a month. We can tell that she really likes it because many mornings, she’s still curled up asleep when we go to get her out of her kennel. She even puts herself to bed sometimes because she’s so comfortable.
