Perfect for portion control, excellent quality nice flexible lids that create a tight seal once closed. I have used for various foods and removed from freezer and had no trouble opening the lids. Half the size I expected. Good for storing but not good for microwave, too small.

My second purchase, these pots are so brilliant for portioning and homemade 'Takeaways'. Perfectly sized, easy to use and wash, lids go on and they really are airtight and leak proof if you 'burp' them. Over the years I've spent a fortune collecting a cupboard full of varying brands and sizes of containers that claim to be airtight and leak proof but not one of them are so I really didn't expect these to be but they really are. Like other people state, the lids can be fiddly to get off, don't try and yank them off in one go or you'll either ruin the pot or hurt your fingers. You need to go all around the pot gently pulling up on the lid, thumb in the middle and fingers to pull up on lid, when you've gone full circle, THEN you can pull the lid off with one easy movement. I recommend this item for anyone on a diet and wanting to measure and restrict their portion sizes. You can freeze individual portions and take a meal out of the freezer and put straight in the fridge to gently defrost over night ready for the next days meal. What could be more easy. Brilliant!10/10/24 - I've now bought a total of 5 packs of these, they are so brilliant. I'm always batch cooking, I try to do it with everything that needs me to portion up. Trouble is I keep running out of pots. I've been so organised and thought of so many things to portion you would not believe. Everything is homemade... so far I've made my own Mushy Peas, Pease Pudding, Mashed Potato, 3 different savoury Rice recipes, Mediteranean Cous Cous, Creamy Rice Pudding, Yoghurt, 2 different Ice Creams, Spag Bol, Chilli, the list is endless. It's great, not only does it stop me eating too much because I weigh and measure everything out, but it gives me loads of time AWAY from the cooker so when I really don't want to cook I don't have to. Great for when I'm extra busy. My view is, if I've got to cook it anyway I may as well cook more than I actually need and portion and freeze the rest. Common sense really when you live alone.

I like the size, which is perfect for storing half of the item from a 400g can that I didn’t use. Only downside is the lid is so leak tight that it is very difficult to open the lid once it is closed.

These are excellent. The lids are easy to put on and remove, but a leak-proof. I have kept shredd cabbage in one in the fridge for over two weeks and it is still crispy with no signs of wilting or other deterioration.First seen on Sam the Cooking Guy (YouTube), I now have all four sizes of the round tubs and one size of the oblong ones too. I previously used microwave/freezer containers which were thinner and more brittle, but these are far superior for fridge storage.I decant shredded cheese into one of the a large pots as soon as I open the packet, and These are ideal for leftovers too.

These containers are made of a super thick plastic great which was my biggest concern when looking around for these containers. I couldn't be happier, the smallest size is great for whole spices and the larger one for alternative flours and soups. For only £7 and prime delivery, they are a steal! (Also great for weighing out baking ingredients and storing unwhipped patisserie custard!)
