It’s lovely

If you’re under the impression that the inclusion of pheromones in this perfume will give you some magical powers of attractiveness, obviously a bit of expectation management is required. In an unscientific test I’ve been assured that this perfume smells ‘average’, and when I boldly asked whether my attractiveness levels had gone up, I was politely reassured it was a ‘no’. So don’t get over-excited.The scent is pleasant though, and just a little bit interestingly complex, which does give you just a little bit of nasal interest. It’s an interesting balance of a little bit of musk, but with really quite a lot of vanilla, making you smell a bit like an ice cream- it’s certainly on the sweet side. It’s not an especially powerful scent, and you can’t detect it from across a room, but in more intimate settings, it does make its presence known.The Chnoca brand’s take on the usual pretentious packaging of perfumes is a bit of a near-miss. The asymmetrical lid that looks a little bit like a metal pebble, or just a lump of molten metal, is a little bit unusual, but it doesn’t seem to fit in with the straight lines of the rest of the bottle shape. It also feels decidedly cheap, and the spray top is equivalent to much cheaper brands too. The outer card tube looks smarter than it feels, with a nice design but a feel that’s basically an oversized toilet roll tube. The ingredients list and other notes on the underside of the tube are badly spelled and presented. The ‘posh brand’ image doesn’t withstand much inspection.It’s four stars from me, and the main plus point behind that is the scent itself, which does feel a bit unusual and unique and rather pleasant, if mild. But the branding and the implication of pheromone magic certainly don’t live up to the self-hype.

I like the longevity of the fragrance since it lasts a long while on the skin (sprayed to the sides of my neck) providing you don't rub it off. The fragrance confused me at first as i can smell a sweetness that I thought might be vanilla but it could be just the musk doing it's thing. There is a citrus tinge which is nice as it gives a freshness right from the start but the dry down was nicer for me.It's a sweet fragrance so be aware in case this isn't your cup of tea. It's a very small bottle with only 15ml despite the longevity and I would have expected more in order for this to be better value. The packaging is a little awkward in my eyes and I would have preferred a more simple understated lid but this is personal preference. I removed 1 star solely as I feel it isn't great value based on the volume of product you receive, however it is still a nice fragrance.

I ordered this delightful men's perfume for my husband, hoping that it wouldn't be as overpowering as the one he currently wears lol. This isn't a perfume brand I'm familiar with and I had mixed expectations of what to expect from the item. It's really lovely though and smells amazing. The perfume comes in a black cannister shaped box, topped with a ribbon. The small 15ml bottle looks very stylish with a rather uniquely shaped bottle top. It has a spray, which dispenses a good amount of the perfume. This scent of this men's perfume is lovely - there are both citrus and floral notes with a nice musk undertone that blends the other scents wonderfully. It lasts quite a long while and isn't overpowering. My husband really likes it, and it definitely smells better than the one he's currently using! The beautiful packaging makes this perfect for gifting too!
