The Claddagh Ring. The Claddagh ring was introduced to Ireland from the small fishing village of Claddagh just outside Galway Cityand thought to have dated back to the Roman times. They are recognised by two hands clasped around a heart with a crown overhead. The Claddagh is known known worldwide to be a symbol of love, friendship, honour and loyalty.
